I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old who has taken up a love for tether ball from playing it at school. I was not expecting much from this product but I was wrong. This is a great set and made of really good quality! This has been a great game to play for us as a family as well as when friends come over. The only downfall is you do have to continuously tighten the pole as it screw into the ground, my 10 year old is a beast as hits the ball hard which will cause the pole to shift on occasion; this isn’t a big deal and the kit came with a great tool to insert into the pole to help tighten in the ground. I wasn’t expecting much as it was affordable but so far we have really loved playing tether ball with this set and it’s been a great addition to keeping my family entertained while being active.

I just got this and set it up. It's decent for the price. It does twist in the ground pretty well, and it is strong. Two grown adults hitting the ball at full force didn't hardly move it at all. The ball itself is decent, too.There are some design flaws, though. I noticed that the bar twists loose after awhile. Also, trying to twist the base perfectly level is a challenge, especially in soil and in a backyard that has seen better days. I recommend using all-weather, durable tape where the bars screw loose and eventually cementing the base into place when you have the time. You definitely should not leave kids unattended when playing on it because they are likely to grab the bar, kick it, or whatever. With enough weight and force I'm fairly certain the bar could bend. In fact, the instructions say never to hang off the bar.It's a great gadget for the price, like I said, but use it with care and it should last. If you want something more durable and worry-free, then save your money and install a permanent set up or buy one of the more expensive portable tether-ball sets.Oh, and purchase a back-up ball. If you're like me and get tired of untying the ball and taking it inside (i.e. lazy), then plan on your ball and string lasting only one summer.

Well made and just what I needed. It took maybe 5 minutes to assemble and install. We bought it for our very active Sniffspot and it’s been a huge hit with the dogs!

Pole is very good strong and goes into hard clay easily the ball is too hard it hurts your hand to hit it but my kids still like it

We got this for my son as a birthday gift. Just finished installing it in the lawn (super easy) and have to say I was pleased by the quality of the set. Went into the grass easily and feels really secure. Ball is great quality too.

Exactly as i expected. I was able to screw into the ground easily with the handle... it wobbles a little in the grass but otherwise I'm happy

Bought it for my 11yr old granddaughter, she loves it. Brings it wherever we go. It is sturdy and well made. Even the adults enjoy it 🤗
