I bought this door stop to replace one that looked exactly liked this but when I searched for it to buy again it was listed at 20 dollars. I found this and it looked exactly alike -- even the mounting holes were the same. This maybe is a tad lighter in weight, however not much. With a two pack I would imagine this should last close to as long as my previous -- and for half the price a great value nevertheless.My old one just broke -- the spring mechanism fell apart. However, this gets used daily with three kids stomping on it numerous times a day.As for the utility, I bought this type because six years ago my oldest smashed my middle kid's finger in the door (hinge side) -- not on purpose -- but just haphazardly, not paying attention. Luckily no serious injuries. But I could see the potential for some serious damage to fingers.The door that this is mounted to is to our garage from the house and it is a heavy door that doesn't stay open but swings closed. With three kids plowing through the door into the house, this eases my worries. Easy installation, just get it in the ball park and the adjustable feet can do the rest once mounted.Highly recommend, not only for safety if you have kids, but also for bringing things in say from the garage into the house -- this keeps the door open. This came with some screws and a gasket -- I did not use either -- just reused the screws from my previous model. May want to predrill the holes before screwing in to the door, especially if you are going into a steel door.

this door stopper is just what I needed! It’s super sturdy and keeps my door exactly where I want it, without any annoying slipping. Worked great at first. After a few months it became much less springy. Doesn't popup as easily as it used to. Still works fine though after at least a year.

I have tried other openers, and they would not work to keep the door open on the linoleum floor. The adjustable knob works to adjust after installation to make it work if the floor is not level.

SEE UPDATE BELOW....So far these seem to work pretty well... they do have a few small small CONS though...Installing them isn't overly hard but they should include a template as marking the top screw is tricky because the release level is in the way. (I guess making your own template wouldn't be to hard though.)The only other CON I found was on one of the door stops the release lever would not fold down into position when the stop was activated (it would stay flat against the door making it useless) so I installed another screw in the door above the actual door stop to keep the lever and foot held out away from the door a bit. This helped make the release lever fall and it made setting the stop easier with your foot too because sometimes with it being spring loaded it would snap back away from your foot a few times before you got your foot on it just right to set.6/21/23 Update - Neither of these lasted very long. The little foot release lever has worn out on both of these after 2 months of use and will no longer release the main foot. At this point I'm just waiting for someone to step on the release lever really hard to try and release the main foot and for it to break off. Now I to have bend over to pick the foot up to close the door... Overall not worth the price I could have just bought a basic cheap version that does the same thing.7/13/23 - Seller did reach out to me and gave me a refund so while the product my not be the best the seller has great customer service.

Super geniale Erfindung. Suche seit Jahren eine Lösung für meine Balkontür. Beide Seiten gehen immer ganz auf, auch wenn ich sie mit irgendwelchen Hilfsmitteln feststellen wollte. Es hat nie wirklich funktioniert. Bei meinem Nachbarn habe ich diese Türstopper entdeckt und sofort auch bestellt. Diese Türstopper sind einfach nur genial, leicht zu montieren und noch leichter zu bedienen. Einfach mit dem Fuß nach unten drücken und die Tür stoppt da, wo ich möchte. Wenn ich es hochklappen will, muss ich auch nur kurz mit dem Fuß draufdrücken und der Hebel klappt nach oben. Alles wunderbar und da ich nur 2 brauchte, konnte ich noch 2 verschenken und meiner Tochter eine Freude machen. Vielen Dank
