After reading great reviews i decided to buy this hoverboard for my nephew's 7th birthday present. He absolutely LOVED IT. The options in colors and cool lights, the smooth ride, and over all sleek presentation completely captivated him. As for most kids, it was easy for him to learn how to ride it and and truly enjoyed it for a while. However, even after taking good care of his hoverboard, two weeks before the guarantee expired, it broke down. His mom used the GREAT resources this company offers in their webpage to trouble-shoot to no avail. Although a bit disappointing, it is expected that even from a great company, once in a while the product will break down. What was not at all disappointing was this company's AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I contacted the company a few days before the expiration of the guarantee and they were great. My nephew's mom promptly received all the necessary materials to return the hoverboard and get a new replacement. When she took a bit longer than expected to return the board, the company contacted us to make sure we had all we needed for the return and to ask if we needed further assistance. I truly valued the interest in this company to make good to the promise that this product's guarantee gives to the customers. Finally, when they received the broken-down hoverboard they sent a brand new one to my nephew. He is, once again, fully in love with his hoverboard, so much so that he has decided he will ask Santa Clause for another one so that when his friends come over to his house they can all play with them without having to wait for their turn.

My 11y son has loved his hoverboard we gave him for Christmas. He was only using it indoors and after six weeks stopped working. I reached out to GoTrax and worked with Fiona. She was amazing at communicating the triage process and quickly responding to my questions. Unfortunately we ultimately needed to replace the board, but the process very smooth (apart from me needing to find a box to ship it back.) I have to say while it’s always frustrating to have something malfunction, gotrax was great to work with. We just got the new board a week ago, and so far working great again. 5 stars because they stood behind their product

I have twins so I purchased two of these. I wrapped them up right out of the delivery box when they arrived and my kids didn’t open them till Christmas morning. We charged them for 3 hours and the green light said they were ready to go. My little boy got on his all excited and not even two minutes there was an awful burning smell that was coming from the hoverboard. No smoke just a burning smell. The right wheel won’t turn and the red light just kept blinking and beeping. I am frustrated that now I have to go thru the hassle of returning this and honestly don’t even want to keep the second one but my little girl is so upset that I don’t want to not let her have it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying this.

I bought this hoverboard for my 8 year old grandson. He absolutely loves it. He's been riding GoTrax hoverboards since he got his first model 3 years ago and we have found the product to be high quality and reliable - with one exception, when the Nova failed to turn on one sad afternoon after we had owned it only two months. I contacted GoTrax support directly since we had passed Amazon's 30 day window, and Fiona of the support team had a replacement en route to us in short order. She was responsive, helpful and friendly throughout the process. Highly satisfied, recommend the product and the support team highly.

The only drawback is the battery life but other than that we are very pleased with the quality of this hoverboard for the price. I bought this for my 7 year old son over a year ago for Christmas and he doesn't use it as much as I would have like him to be cause we live on a transient street but he uses it around the house and on the sidewalk and in the driveway. It's easy enough to transport so he brings it to his grandmother's house too. It has held up very well. The motor is very quiet. I have heard some cheap ones that are really loud. The lights and sleek black look have kept up and are really cool looking and it has been a great addition to his collection of electric toys. I am looking to buy a Gotrax escooter for him this year.

This is my 2nd hoverboard I purchased from Amazon. I purchased one 4 years ago, 1st generation maybe, the quality was bad. I decided to give another try, however this hoverboard quality is excellent!It is heavy duty and my kid loves it. To be honest, this hoverboard is big and even an adult can ride on top. It’s a little heavy but quality is great. It feel different from the one I had from a different seller before. The color is very unique too, good rose?Most importantly, it can be connected as a Bluetooth and play music. Also, it rides very far with a single battery charge. This is an awesome hoverboard. Do recommend it. Worth the money!
