I have a Craftsman multimeter I have had now for a few decades, but the test leads have been falling apart, and are no longer repairable. Unfortunately, the size of the connector that fits into the meter itself is apparently not a standard design, so it is not possible to get replacement test leads that work. (I spent months looking for some). It took me several purchases and returns of test lead replacement kits before I realized that. I bought this one because it had narrow probes with safety caps, and was very inexpensive (the original probes were fat, and cause occasional problems in tight spaces). Since this item had a standard plug where it goes into the meter, I had to cut off the plugs and solder my originals (which are still in good shape from my Craftsman). After doing that, things worked great.I cannot speak to the quality of the plugs, since I had to cut them off and replace them, since they matched the current standard (while my Craftsman meter did not), but the rest works just fine.Cautions: The probes are not as physically strong as my originals, but I knew this when I bought them, as I needed a thinner probe tip to get into some tight spaces. This makes the tips almost needle sharp, so the safety caps for storage (provided) are a necessity. Use them. The test leads should also not be left in reach of small children, and when handling, care must be taken as they will puncture the skin if not careful.

My old leads failed. I needed new ones and these have exceeded my expectations so far. I like the needle like tips for testing through insulation and the clamps can slide on over the needles to give it the ability to clamp to wires. They seem to be well made, as well, so I expect them to hold up well over time. Pleased with the purchase

I purchased these as replacements for the leads on my multimeter. They work well. I had to trim the guards on the plugs so that they would seat into thirr inputs properly, but other than that they work well.

I bought these so I can use them as testing leads for my buzzer so I cut the ends and use them for continuity. They work perfectly. Pretty sure they worked great on a meter too, but that’s not what I use them for but they’re worth the money the fine tip at the end makes going in terminal blocks, very easy and accessible.

I didn't bother to photograph them as they look identical to the photo. They plugged into my multi meter just fine, and they worked perfectly. I bought this set after it sitting in my "buy later" box here on Amazon.I bought them specifically for the hook-on probes. They're a lot easier to use when you're doing a lot of circuit testing in a difficult to access area.The banana clips. Well, they look a little less durable (these kinds of clips, unless they're a high end company usually are less sturdy). To be fair, I have yet to use them. The shields that come with them, however, are a good size, and will protect you from a zap.My only real complaint are the wires attached to the probes. On my other probes that came with my meter, and the aftermarket probes I bought at the same time, the wires are thicker. These wires aren't as thick. With that being said, I would not expect these probes to be used in a high voltage scenario like when testing a rooftop air conditioner. They're just not going to survive long on that type of circuit testing.For general circuit boards, they should be just fine, though.For the weak banana clips, they lose a star. For everything else, it's a good set for the money spent.
