The PSG9060 is a programmable function arbitrary wave signal generator. It can output sine wave, square wave, triangle wave, pulse wave, arbitrary wave, etc. The instrument has a maximum frequency range of 60MHz and includes waveform modulation, frequency sweep, vco, measured signal frequency and programming capabilities. The output signal, amplitude, phase, duty cycle, and frequency can be displayed at the same time. It offers new options for education, R & D, manufacturing, testing and other industries.
This signal generator employs direct digital synthesizer (DDS) technology to provide stable, accurate, pure and low distortion signals. With a 3.5-inch high-resolution color LCD screen, you can view parameters and dual-channel graphics at the same time to bring a new visual experience.

Firmware Update
Firmware upgrade can be updated at any time to fix bugs, or used for your special customization needs. Press the corresponding soft key to confirm entering the update mode, and perform a one-key firmware upgrade by connecting with the PC software.
Voltage Control
The frequency, amplitude and duty cycle of the output can be controlled by an external analog voltage signal to achieve voltage-controlled sweeping frequency, sweeping amplitude and sweeping duty cycle, which are widely used in industrial debugging.
Modulation
The model waveforms can be output in single channel or dual channel.
Modulation: The process of adding information from a signal source to the carrier to make it suitable for channel transmission. It is the technology that makes the carrier wave change with the signal.
The external signal frequency of the modulation function of this PSG9060 product can reach 0~20 KHz.
Personal Four Colors
In order to meet the personalized needs of customers, four colors schemes for the system are provided. You can use the numeric keys and knob to select the desired system color, press the soft key save to save the selected color.
Equal Performance Dual Channel
The same or different function signals or arbitrary waveform signals can be output simultaneously. All parameters can be adjusted independently, the phase difference between the two channels is continuously adjustable from 0 to 359.9 degrees. The signal frequency can be up to 60Mhz, and the out put signal can be within 1Mhz up to 25Vpp.
Burst
Sine wave, square wave, saw tooth wave, or arbitrary wave can be used to generate burst signals, the number of periods is continuously adjustable between 1-1,000,000,000.
Precise and Adjustable Pulse Width
The pulse width and the pulse period time of the pulse wave are digitally and accurately adjustable, enabling a wide range of pulse waveforms to be accurately set without jitter output.
Arbitrary Waveform
PC software and communication protocol are provided for free. Arbitrary waveforms can be drawn using the PC software. Using the communication protocol can be secondary development programming. All functions of the instrument can be controlled by the PC software. The instrument can be also finished all operations without connecting to the computer.

I already own a very nice HP signal generator, but it takes up half my work bench. I watched some people review this same generator and bitched about the voltage going up and down as you sweep the frequency. I marveled at their nice expensive scopes and other equipment but was dumbfounded how they did not know what they were doing while complaining about the voltage swings or how the square waves were not very square at 80 mHz. Duh....Folks, if you're going to do a video review - at least admit you don't know what you're really doing.Things to know to test this properly are:1) Use 50 Ohm coax to connect it to your scope.2) Make sure the end at the scope is terminated with a 50 ohm load resistor.3) Set a reasonable voltage, say 1 volt P-P.4) Set the output to a sine wave. Don't expect a square wave to look very square at 80 mHzNow you'll get a steady output all up and down with less than 3dB variation. In my case quite a bit less on one channel but slightly more on the other.For the money this is a great deal and you can modulate the output externally which is wonderful if you're and RF guy like I am.

I've been using this signal generator for the past 6 months to test and calibrate radio, HiFi, and Stereo equipment. It does everything that generators costing hundreds more can do. One minor quibble: When using modulation, it would be great if it could stay on when switching to the main signal screen to adjust the frequency or level. It's inconvenient to lose modulation when trying to make those adjustments.

Glad I got this generator, very happy with it. As an old school retired industrial/radio station engineer, I had fun testing it's functions. PC software install was bug free. Frequency accuracy is excellent, after a 30 minute warm up. AC amplitude accuracy is also very good. When using the DC source, the output is about 10% high. Haven't tested the counter yet, but I'll bet it is accurate.

Nice output range. lightweight. Easy to use. comes with windows compatible software. the software does not let you adjust the screen size so it's a little wonky on a laptop.I'd buy it again.
