I had such high hopes for this in my setup. Mean other than lights govee products are hit and miss for me. And well this one is another miss. Never detects pressure when sitting on it. If by some chance it does detect pressure it definitely isnt quick IF it works at all. Just in general this is a fail for me. Package it up and put it back in the box and of course detects pressure then just not when I'm sitting on it. Go figure

I am not sure if I should even give it a 3-star rating - it is possible it's just my use. But I do have dozens of "smart home" sensors across variety of brands, so I believe I have decent perspective.I bought this sensor even with the mixed reviews, thinking maybe it would work better for my case. Adding this to Home Assistant is a snap, showed up and worked right out of the box, detecting pressure and communicating consistently.After spending a lot of time fiddling with the positioning the sensor for the best outcome, it just has some false reporting - specifically when pressure is there for long periods of time. After some hours, it stops detecting pressure or continues to detect pressure when pressure stops. It is just not consistent enough for my case, but it did technically work.

It does detect when I get up or down from my bed. However, it's a bit slow to turn on or off the lights, by maybe ~5 seconds. I think this is due to it not being Wi-Fi but using the Govee hub connections.
