I ended up returning several other Wjreless Thermometers before finding this one and being entirely impressed with its function.The Probes: - Extremely rugged - Accurate though reading temp takes a bit longer than other probesThe Case: - Very well built - Charges w USB-C so is quite fast - probes pop right in and don’t have to face a specific direction like other designs- LED visibility and layout is to notch with one button click to cycle between core probe temp and ambient temps- both probe and base battery readouts- Bluetooth range: from probe to base I had zero issues at a distance of 80 feet through two walls from inside of my grill.- Witi Range: the base can be configured to intermediate sending that probe data it collects via Bluetooth to WiFi to your phone appThe App ( Govee Home )- The app is unified so many products from Govee use the single app instead of having countless apps - The app works incredibly well. - Reading and seeing easily core temp and ambient temp I could even see when my steaks had rested enough after coming out of the fridgeI will be keeping these around they are wonderful

I ordered this for my wife because she broke her last analog meat thermometer. I am a huge fan of all things govee and goveelife so I knew that I HAD to give this a try. I am very pleased to report that it exceeded my expectations in every way!I was a bit skeptical about whether it would withstand the heat from the grill but with an external and internal temperature readout, you know exactly what temp your meat is as well as how hot the ambient temperature is. The probe is very well made and feels extremely durable. Charging the probe is as simple as can be, utilizing a magnetic contact type charging mechanism inside the case. Connecting to the case and probe are super simple, just like all govee products, and you can monitor your temperatures on the case or through the app. The app definitely gives you more control over how you use the thermometer by giving you alarms and recommended temperatures based on what meat you tell it you are cooking. The temperature readings were very accurate. Utilizing bluetooth, you can be at a fairly long distance from the grill or oven and still get perfect temp readings. I am super pleased with another wonderful govee product that functions well beyond my expectations. My only regret is not ordering the one with 2 probes! Highly recommend to anyone looking to level up their meat cooking game!

Works great on rotisserie chicken and other rotisserie items a big plus is that it’s Wi-Fi connected not Bluetooth so not only do you get the readings on your phone but you also get it on the charging station it’s just a really good item. I’m very happy with it.

Extremely disappointed! I love Govee and own so many of their products, but this wifi thermometer is hot garbage.I have used this now 3 times to smoke meat.Pros:- accurate temps compared to three other wifi thermometers we own- it's a pretty product with a nice led displayCons:- Battery is useless! Even charging the base and probes to 100%, all three die between uses (only a few days apart). Amost as if it needs to be connected to a charger 100% of the time- App connectivity is still just as bad as their Bluetooth only thermometers: if you don't have the app open on your phone screen, let's say your phone locks ... You will not receive the push notification / alert on your phone. The base's alert is loud, however, that's the whole point of using the app =1/10 would not recommend

Govee was able to make the situation right and I feel much better about the product as a result.Overall the probes worked, but two big areas of the product falling short of expectation were battery life and temperature reading accuracy. I'm not sure if it's just the item I got or what so I'll continue trying it out more. GoveeLife has had some great products in the past.

This is a great thermometer! I usually use the cheap digital probes that require you open the oven and probe the meat. With this thermometer that is no longer neeeded!I absolutely love the ability to see the temperature 100% of the cooking time, it takes a lot of the guess work away when figuring out when the meat will be done. They have an app, but I don’t even use it. The lcd display on the base unit is more than enough. The only flaw with it is that there is loud beep when you turn it on and off.I highly recommend this thermometer.

It was my first time cooking a prime rib roast because I'm an adult now and was asked to host Christmas. A lot of recipes called for exact temperature and timing to make sure our 10 lb prime rib roast was cooked thru and not over.... it was daunting but this thermometer was little sous chef beeping and telling me exactly how much longer the roast had to be in, at what temp, and I was able to use my timers and mind to focus on all the other things I was cooking as a host... a total life saver. Everyone is raving about the prime rib roast and its glorious perfection and now I'm being asked to make it again and again for our next family gatherings! Definitely a worthy purchase, do it!

Updated review. After troubleshooting, i found my problem and my connectivity issues were resolved. Something in garage was messing with the signal. Used it in my backyard and worked great! Should of bought the product that came with 2 probes.Haven't been able to use it, seem to have connectivity issues. Will contact seller for support
