I bought this for my 2006 f150 xlt. And it popped right into place, nice and snug. I will say that the only thing i dont love is the ends dont perfectly form to the contours of the tailgate itself. Not terribly noticeable. But not as good as oem. But for the money it is great.

Replaced my boss's broken original, the first two I ordered were in two parts when it's supposed to be one, but this one on Amazon was more expensive but came in one piece except the first was damaged in shipping, but the seller took care of it after some easy communication. Holding up after about a month so far.

Nearly every clip broke off trying to install. The button channel needed grinding to prevent sticking. The pins on each end wouldn’t reach. The plast is brittle. Not worth a dollar. JUNK!

Likes style and priceDis-likes product constructionThe tailgate protector is about 3/8" shorter then the one counterpart. You also need to be careful installing I cracked mine install the plastic clips.
