It’s a really good product for the price. The audio quality of the radio and of the cassette playback was levels above what I thought it would be for the price.My only issue is that it can’t record any audio my my cassettes. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not using a specific type of tape but it just doesn’t work with my Sony HF-90s.But on the bright side the playback is amazing for the price.TLDR: audio quality is amazing but the recorder seemingly doesn’t work.

Do NOT purchase this product unless you want a toy. It’s cheaply made. The microphone is Horrible and does not record very well. It will play cassette tapes but the sound is not very good. Radio does not have an attached antenna so you only get one or two stations that hardly comes in. Do not understand how people have given this item anything over a one star rating. I purchased two and they both have the same issues.

it works great like i mean it does what is said it does plays cassettes🤷â€â™‚ï¸ the radio i’m my opinion could’ve worked better than what i got once again i guess it’s just where i live that effects the radio the headphones are kinda cheap though but what would you expect i mean your getting your expecting i mean like your getting a cassette player for $20, its only like $3 for some better headphones at like walmart but other than that its great.

I bought this to listen to 40-year-old cassette tapes that have managed to survive. The sound quality from the speaker (tape and radio) is awful. The speaker is a waste of hardware and space. Sound quality through the headphones is okay, but not as good as my now-deceased tape deck. Auto-stop doesn't work as it should. It appears to disengage the spindle, so the tape doesn't get stressed, but it doesn't shut off the motor, which kills the batteries overnight. I was going to return the player, then I realized that for the price, I got my money's worth. I only listen to cassettes occasionally, so I don't need more than this player provides.

My 50 yr old son has brain damage and is in a coma. He recorded a song 35 years ago on a cassette tape. I live in Florida he in Cali. I'm so happy it works and when I go next month and play it for him, I'm hoping it sparks something in him. The sound is good enough for what I need it for. I was afraid it wouldn't work, more so the tape itself. You don't know how happy this makes me feel that they still sell these.

Someone taped our wedding on cassette (family friend) in 1978. Listened to cassette in 1978 and have not listened since and now didn’t have cassette player so I ordered this and listened it was so sweet. So 46 years later and this cassette worked perfect.

Ado durant les années 80, et ayant malheureusement perdu (volé peut-être) mon bon vieux Walkman Sony, je suis très heureux de retrouver ce feeling de réécouter mes bonnes vieilles cassettes chez moi ou dans la rue, mon nouveau Walkman accroché à la ceinture comme avant.Excellent produit, made in Germany, qualité sonore impeccable, et surtout, il possède la pince pour l'accrocher à la ceinture. Incroyable que tous les autres modèles dispos aient "oublié" cet accessoire pourtant indispensable pour les personnes des 80's !5 â

Son de qualité correcte, bien meilleur que certains autres baladeurs du même prix.Assez volumineux et donc un peu lourd.Mais en tout cas un très bon article pour lire vos cassettes.

I have bought this radio as I had another one I did not open until the end of December. I cannot record on it. The record button won't go down. It is useless.
