Purchased as a replacement for the older version which had a worn valve that is irreplaceable. This newer one is easier to clean, easier to handle, and if the valve ever wears out it can be replaced.

Brand name sprayer for a great price. It's easy to use, easy to clean, easy to maintain. The only thing it's missing is the swivel connector for the hose, making it easier to paint at weird angles. If that was on here it's and easy 5 stars all the way from me. Still a good product, highly suggest for professional and amateur painters.

I have been a professional painter for nearly 20 years, have used the gamut of pumps and guns. While this isn't their commercial line, it is sure wonderful for when I need one 2 to 3 times a year. Sprayed great right out of the box, I have no complaints and look forward to using it for sometime to come!!

I purchased this as a replacement gun for my x5 after I accidentally damaged the gun that came with the sprayer. Apart from a nicer trigger I can’t really see that this gun offers anything over the regular sg2 that comes with the x5.
