Granite Ware Bake, Broil and Grill set uses the same great Porcelain on Steel construction used in our famous Granite Ware Roasters. Porcelain on steel construction is stronger and safer than foil type pans. Porcelain is fused to the steel at 2000 degrees Fahrenheit producing a non-porous, inert surface that is naturally non-stick and dishwasher safe. Please note that it is a glass type surface so if dropped, it can chip however this will not reduce the performance of the cookware.
The Granite Ware 3 pc Bake, Broil and Grill features a perforated tray that is ideal for vegetables or fish. Use it directly on the barbecue or in the oven at home. The grill rack can be used to broil meat in the oven using the pan bottom to catch the drippings and keep your oven clean. The base pan can be used by itself as a Roasting pan or Lasagna pan. Cook and serve right out of the pan

This is a very nice pan if you aren't looking for a big broiler or roasting pan. You can even use the bottom to bake a 9x13 sheet cake. The first one I received had a bad chrome rack and had to be returned but the replacement was fine. The size is perfect if you cook small roasts or a chicken, or are broiling steaks for 2 or 3 people. If you cook for a crowd, keep looking.

I love this dish. It is the perfect size for making so many things and best of all it is easy to clean. The only thing you have to watch is to be sure to dry your rack so it does not rust. I own two of them and we use them all the time.

I was looking for a pan to cook about a 10lb turkey,and would still be not too unruly to store in a small house,with little cabinet space.I saw some of these (same brand),an oval variety,on sale at a couple of local stores but wanted a rectangle pan.I've used it now on two different occasions,and had different thoughts with it.I bought this pan,and used it that night;I used the broiler pan to make a Turkey meat loaf. The meat loaf turned out well,but the clean up (especially the dripping that dripped through to the bottom of the pan) seemed be more difficult to clean off.I hand washed it 3 times,it seemed clean after each wash,but later after it dried,parts of it appeared still dirty...where the drippings had landed.I even used cooking spray on the pan,and the broiler pan,So I thought clean up would be easier...Liked it,but pain to clean,I cooked the thanksgiving turkey with it,and the grill grate,which I was very happy with the grate as it's a nice thick grate. Better than a few cheap BBQ's I've bought in the past.It worked wonderfully.No warping,cleaned up really well,not problems...Worked wonderful,and cleaned up great too.4 stars -Nice size,but not too being for most things I might cook with it.Grate thickness,and it's quality a plus,along with an additional broiler pan part.Took a star off,as I'm not sure I'll be able to use much outside of roasting chicken/turkey (I don't eat Beef or Pork) because of clean up issues.I don't think I'll make a turkey meatloaf,or roast vegetables in it because of clean up,. I have other pans that would be much easier to clean...So diminished usefulness to me -1 star.

I'm experiencing a bit of buyer's remorse with this pan. I normally do an unhealthy amount of research for even basic purchases, and I bought this item impulsively after my husband exploded my favorite glass baking dish in the broiler. It's *okay*, and the pan itself performs well in the oven or under the broiler. I have had no use for the wire rack so far, but it's made a few trips through the dishwasher and is still intact, so I have no complaints about that. The top tray, however, warped on it's first use, as I expected it would after reading reviews. Most reviews stated that it would return to it's flat shape after cooling and it did relax somewhat, but remains just twisted enough to really irritate me. It does not provide a level surface for the food I'm cooking, which hasn't been too much of a problem so far, but it may someday. Really, it's just like sitting in a chair that has one leg shorter than all the rest-it performs just fine, but it makes me irrationally angry.Although I checked the dimensions of the pan before purchasing, I was surprised by how small it is in person. It does fit a 5 lb. whole chicken, but isn't large enough to handle the same chicken if it's spatchcocked, and definitely won't be able to handle some of the larger pork shoulders I cook. It looks smaller than my 14" x 9" glass baking dish, though measuring it confirms that the size difference is negligible. The finish has worn off in a few places where the wire rack rubbed against it during shipping, and some along the edges after only a few uses. I have not had any problems with rust so far, however.I paid $20 for this pan, and wish I had shopped around a bit more. At the time of writing this review, the price is $13, which is more reasonable. Overall, I think I could have found a better product for only a few dollars more than I paid for this pan, or I could have paid much less and gotten a slightly lower-quality item. Either of those options would have felt like a better value. Three stars feels a bit generous for this item, as I truly wish I had not bought it. But I have to admit that I have used it more frequently than any other piece of cookware in my kitchen since I received it, and it did not explode in the broiler, so I will grudgingly admit that it's doing its job.

This is my new daily roasting and broiling pan. Very versatile, great size for small dinners. I like the way the wire rack will fit inside the pan or on top of the rack with the round holes. That second rack will be good for broiling fish or hamburger, or using on the grill for veggies. Very good quality.
