When you are using the stir stick rod to stir, please use a thread, and tie the rod to wooden chopsticks or a small iron bar, for increasing the length and preventing burns.

All 3 pieces came perfectly intact and had Bubble mailer and a nice solid box. Idk how others have broke, maybe mine was lucky. I did snap 1 in half to test the durability (and I needed a shorter stick), it was pretty tough. Almost like snapping a pencil. The pieces are worth it.

I love using these rods to check on my metals to see if they’re completely melted since I currently don’t have an industrial thermometer gun, this is an old fashioned way of checking if your metals are thoroughly melted.

Purchased these for amateur metalworking. A few of the rods broke in half in shipping, but otherwise they worked decently for stirring, just don't be too vigorous or expect these to be as strong as metal, they're essentially large pencil leads, and they will break if you force them against the sides of a crucible.

I ORDERED THESE EARLY MAY, NEVER …NEVER USED THEM!!! I TAKE THEM OUT OF THE BUBBLE WRAP AND THIS IS WHAT I SEE . I HATE THAT THE RETURN WINDOW HAS CLOSED BECAUSE I CERTAINLY WOULD RETURN THEM. THEY FEEL LIKE CHALK AND APPARENTLY ARE NOT AS RIGID AS I THOUGHT WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS… NOT AT ALL!!!!*I COULD NOT SUBMIT WITHOUT THE RATING WHICH I PUT 1STAR IT DOESNT DESERVE THAT.

The graphite stir sticks work well, but they all arrived broken. The box they are shipped in is not sturdy enough for the shipping. The only option was a refund and return, no replacement, so I decided to keep them since they still have one section that is long enough for small crucibles

Not sure why but when using they seem too just break apart. So I just use my tongs now for stirring.
