I was skeptical at 1st. I have been upgrading my G400 with various parts. Before I started it sounds like complete crap. Buzzing everywhere Dromm the nut to the original TOM Epiphone bridge. After upgrading the pickups, wiring & pots, nut (graphtech tusq), and leveling frets it started to sound much better. But after these upgrades I had this horrible, shrill treble overtone. I upgraded the bridge wth another popular bridge everyone recommended, it still sounded shrill, especially clean. I was about to give up and sell it. I researched the resomax NV2 and saw that others claimed it reduced th treble harshness of their guitars. I had to try it and I am glad I did. Product is a breeze to install, and it sounds amazing! No more treble shrill nonsense, it sounds nice and rich, full of harmonics that seem natural and pleasing. I can't get over how great my guitar sounds now! I didn't even have to file the preslotted bridge saddles and it lined up perfectly. I hardly ever write reviews, but do to my shrill overtone issue and being able t fix it with the product, I had to write one in case someone else has the same issue. It definitely cuts out the overly bright sound of my treble strings, but I wouldn't call it dark with all the other tone it does add. I am now looking forward to enjoying my G400 rather than screwing around with it all the time to get a decent sound. Between the NV2 and their Tusq nut, my guitar sounds great. Thanks.

This thing is awesome. I have an Epi SG Custom and a Gibson SG Standard. Did not fit the Gibson but got the Epi perfectly. Haven't had it long enough to speak to the String Saver functionality. I can absolutely say I hear more resonance unplugged. Hopefully it solves my biggest problem which is string breakage.

Definite improvement over the stock bridge on an Epiphone Dot. At first it sounded different and I wasn't sure. As I played it more though I realized the tone was much smoother and the ice-pick highs were gone on certain strings. I would describe it as a much more smooth and balanced tone over the stock bridge while retaining the overall sound quality. It's also a seriously nice bit of quality gear. With this and a Graph Tech black Tusq nut (the only thing I ever use - such excellent tone and tuning stability) I get great tone and the guitar stays in tune. Very happy I made the purchase.

This part did not fit my Classic Player Jazzmaster. However, a close inspection of the part reveals it is a far superior tuneomatic to what Fender supplies on their guitars. I would not hesitate to use this on a different guitar, it just didn't fit mine.

Phenomenal build quality. I purchased this product to replace a defective stock Ibanez AS93 bridge. Since purchasing the guitar I was unable to properly intonate it due to the intonation screws being stripped. The Graph Tech intonation screws adjust easily and hold their position well, after installing and setting up the guitar it sounds great. The color of Graph Techs bridge is identical to the stock bridge from Ibanez, ignore the color of the picture on Amazon. Graph Techs plating process for the metal is smooth and consistent, the stock bridge posts were rough and the plating was of poor quality.

This bridge is just OK, suffering from an annoying design flaw: the spring/wire intended to hold the saddle screws in place travels catches on the threads and impedes the intonation process. It required a lot of intervention to frequently re-seat the wire and achieve reasonably good adjustment. Context: I wanted to upgrade the stock bridge of an Ibanez semi-hollow, in part because the saddles didn't have enough travel to allow proper intonation. This Graphtech bridge had the same problem; however, as I've learned with their other products, the material is soft enough to sand -- so I was able to thin down a couple of the saddles and achieve correct intonation. In all, though, I hesitate to t recommend this assembly if you're using 10-46-gauge strings.

Drop in replacement bridge for Epi ES-335 pro. Was having problems with tuning stability and intonation. This along with my new â€string butler product†has made this guitar stay in tune WAY longer (like playing 5 heavy rock songs with big bends). It’s actually in tune everywhere in the neck now. Sounds so much better too!!!! The sustain! Wish I had done this combo earlier!

Bad product. Bad design, Cheaply made and destroyed intonation so I had to remove and return. Don't bother.
