I love deer and this is a perfect way to admire them when I write out my checks. I know it is not real leather but it sure feels & looks very close. My checks and register fit perfectly with a little room to spare = I tend to keep the prior register laying inside for reference and so that's not a problem. I am very happy with my purchase.

The book itself is great but it didn't have the check protector to keep from writing on the next check.
