Do you like hitting things with hammers? Small hammers? Round hammers? If you answered yes to those questions, you need this! It is a small round hammer you can hit things with. You will love it.

Works well, seems well made. It seems a little too light who’s my fault as the weight was stated, but does affect my satisfaction.

Well built and I really like the handle. Fits my hand well and looks nice. The handle seems to be made from good wood. Nice grain and good finish. It is just a hammer, but I really like it,

Nice light duty machinist hammer.Fair $$$, long (enough) hickory handle...shaped well, minimum (useless) finish to have to remove. Hammer is well balanced. Appears extra attention to fastening head...i;e. looks like glue/epoxy as well as a circle wedge used. Nice addition to a toolbox/drawer for delicate hobby or general light duty work.Easy to recommend.

Give a two, for a couple of reasons. The handle on the bottom back side of labeling side, looks like someone used it to fend off a angry beaver with the amount of chunck voids in the wood. The handle at top, larger OD of something that belongs on a 16oz ball pein hammer and where a 8oz hammer should have a 10" handle, this has a 12" handle instead (they are using same handle for both hammers, and no QC on wood before head is installed). As for metal on the hammer, give it a solid 3 since shape is ground close to correct, but lack the finial unify tumbler polishing instead.Note, just got is so will see how well metal head holds up, hence if too soft and just dents all to hell, or if to brittle and cracks apart instead. If you need a trash ball peen hammer, fits the bill, but if your looking for a lot better out the box that should last a life time with wood handle, then Vaughan instead.

The company advertised itself as a US company but did not say the hammer was made in China. maybe I missed it but I go out of my way not to buy made-in-China products.

En la lista de útiles del colegio de mi hijo (9 años), le pidieron un martillo. Este estuvo perfecto pues es bastante liviano y manejable.

Could have been a good hammer but for two things (perhaps related). The head was mounted upside-down the tapper in the eye and the numbers in the casting gave that away. The wedge in the eye was not hammered all the way in before being cut and step wedged in place. The head arrived loose. Where-ever, in China, they're making these is humid. The wood dries out and the head is loose. If you purchase one assume you're going to have to rehang the head to use it.
