Cause he will never get enough of it, especially if you have cats too. I swear it’s taken over his life, but he’s happy so I’m happy. Super annoyed, but happy

This laser is so powerful .I was stunned when I first turned it on.If I could give it 6 stars I would. The special effects lens is really cool. A nice little bonus. You won't be disappointed.

This laser pointer is really nice and feels strong. I love that it’s rechargeable, making it much more convenient to use without worrying about changing batteries. What I Like:The rechargeable feature is a great bonus and saves money on batteries. The green laser is bright and perfect for pointing out stars or unknowns in the sky.The starlight mode adds a fun, romantic touch, allowing me to change the laser patterns for different uses. It’s easy to use—just press the switch and the laser is ready to go.Concerns:Not suitable for kids, as the laser can be harmful if pointed at eyes. The starlight patterns are nice, but I wish they were a bit more varied in some situations.Final Thoughts:Overall, this laser pointer is a solid and practical tool. The rechargeable design is very convenient, and the green laser is bright enough to use for various purposes, from stargazing to presentations. It’s a fun gadget to have, but I’d caution against letting young children use it due to the power of the beam.

I love that this laser printer pen is rechargeable by USB. The off on button has a clear removable cap that fits over it to avoid unintended lighting up. The green pointer is super bright for slideshow or chart indicating in the office, and the beam travels a long distance outdoors for prudent outside usage. I have charged this device once, and the battery seems to last a long time.An attachment screws over the lens and offers a twistable star-like show that you can project on the ceiling, a little bit like a kaleidoscope display in only green. This attachment makes the pointer more than a one trick pony that can only point.

This laser pointer is crazy bright. I measured the raw output power at about 160mW but that includes infrared leakage. With the IR filtered out, the power is about 90mW which is still very high. Great for pointing out stars since the beam itself is visible in the air. Not so great for playing with pets since it's too powerful and could damage their eyes. This is not a toy!I took off a couple of stars because the unit I received was very poorly assembled. The cap covering the USB connector was cross threaded and I had to take the cover off the other end and tighten up the lens since it showed up loose and out of focus so it made a large spot.

I received this product for free as part of the Vine Program.I wanted to try this out as a tool when I am helping my son with his homework. This product is as advertised as it is durable, functional, easy to use, compact, and decent quality for the price. To get the single pointer, you have to unscrew the top and then for the other designs (which I am unsure what the use is for those), you just screw the top back on.

This is the second laser pointer I've gotten in the past couple of months. The first was a bust because the charging mechanism completely pushed into the laser pointer when we went to plug in the charging cord. There is no way to take it apart to retrieve it, thus rendering it unchargeable and useless. I got this one because the charging mechanism is completely different--direct USB. That aspect of this laser pointer is perfect. This one is also lighter, sleeker, and more comfortable to hold. I like that it comes with a little guard that clips over the laser button to protect it from accidentally being pushed and either running down the battery or accidentally "blinding" someone. Our family is into astronomy and loves to use a laser pointer outside to point out constellations, planets, and satellites. This works great for that. The kids like to play with the starlight cap, but it's not that useful for our purposes. The starlight cap was difficult to remove, didn't want to twist off. It was easier to pop it in half and then try to twist it off. Fortunately, the first "dud of a laser pointer" had the same type of starlight cap that worked way better, and we were able to swap them out--they were the same size and had the same size threads. So now we have a perfectly functioning laser pointer that can be easily recharged, is bright enough to point out constellations, and has an easily removable starlight cap. Overall I'm happy with this laser pointer, but just beware that you might get a loose starlight cap as well that is difficult to remove.
