The material is light weight and "slippery"I use them in a pinch. Attractive looking but just not my favorite.

You can feel the heat through the oven mitt. I almost dropped what I was taking out of the oven because it was too hot on my hands.

First use and the potholder literally crumbled - burn marks on back where it touched the pot handle.Would post pics but Amazon will not load them.

I love the surface design on the pot holders, but I’m afraid I will be too cautious about messing them up for them to be practical.
