These are easy to install and work great. The string seems to last quite a while to - which is nice. I like that I don't have to manually wind the spool with string. Just open the trimmer head and pop it in and you're good to go.

The hole for the cartridge was just a bit too small to fit my weed eater,If you look on the inside of the cartridge there is room to make it bigger with a drill bit which you have to measure with the original cartridge so the you get the right drill bit to make it bigger so that it will fit my Portland weed eater,but it works.

These replacement weed whacker spools are GREAT. Our local store didn't stock them.These have WIRES inside the strings and they CUT weeds & small branches with alacrity.Will definitely buy again

I was having a heck of a time finding the correct string for my Kobalt battery trimmer. After a few trips to Lowes I was left in frustration but I was able to find these on Amazon and BOOM I was back to trimming. Three spools in a package is a great deal and they work just as well as the originals from Kobalt.

Don’t buy this. It fits in my trimmer and works but the line was constantly getting pinched which meant the auto feed didn’t work. I rewrapped it multiple times and still it would get stuck.I ended up pulling out all the line. Went Lowe’s and bought the 50 ft (I think it was 50) dollar line for like 4 bucks wrapped it my self and I have had no issues with it auto feeding. It’s blue if that helps.Save your money. It took me 2 minutes to wind the line and didn’t need to stop to pull more line out by hand.

I really like the product--the string was tough-the spool lasted about what I thought it should. I gave the product a four rating as I thought the spool should be bigger--But all in all the price was right and the product did what it was supposed to do.
