I have several tools made by greenworks. I have a reciprocating saw, but it has to be plugged in. I have several areas that are NOT close to an electric socket and I would need two extension cords to reach what I need to cut. I tried this out today and was not disappointed. It was easy to put the blade in and I felt safe using it. There is a lock feature so that you don't accidentally turn it on when pushing the "button" that runs the tool. I am in my 50s so it is a little heavy for me, but I could use it! The battery life is great and I am pleased!

Very pleased with the greenworks line. This saw is great quality and the battery lasts long enough to get the job done. Lightweight enough to comfortably use without having to take a break.

Like the other Greenworks products we have, this is a great find. It's pretty powerful for a battery operated saw. I was able to cut quiet a few (thick) branches and still have plenty power left. It's quieter than another corded saw I had.If you have other Greenworks tools, keep in mind that the battery this one uses is smaller than the others. I initially bought just the saw but the batteries we have didn't fit, so I bought the saw and the battery and charger as a set.

Pros -Exceptional and versatile reciprocating saw.Accepts most all typical reciprocating saw blades readily.Quick attachment of bladed (with using wrenches or "keys" is excellentGreat safety mechanismCons -Balance seems a little "off" with the battery attached. (Minor detail)I would have liked to see a "fast charger" option for the battery (just my impatient opinion)Overall -An excellent choice for a battery powered saw. Very powerful. Battery drain after 30 minutes of use was quite small.An outstanding choice for flexibility, power, value and "long lasting" battery.

In general , I love Greenworks. My mower, blower, drill, and chainsaw are awesome. This thing sucks. The blade holder does not keep the blade in so it’s just a piece of junk. I’m trying to get a refund.

I love the Greenworks line. Picked this up to add to my other tools from Greenworks. All us the same Battery and this along with their Chainsaw and Pole saw makes for a great Home Yard cleanup collection.I have a large collection of Bamboo and their line helps keep the Property clean.Well done..
