As a vendor at the occasional craft show, I've been wanting to update my display, and I thought this three panel grid wall would be perfect for the job. The fact that they can be configured in a few different ways and are on wheels so you can move them about easily was very appealing to me. I'm always changing things up and I thought this would be ideal to be able to rearrange my display depending on the circumstances. I also like the fact that the grids come with a selection of hooks since most require you buy them separately. Twenty-one hooks is not a lot, but it'll get you started.So there are the pros. Now for the con, and it's kind of a biggie. Like other reviewers stated, it was not fun to assemble. The holes didn't line up, bolts got stripped in the process, and a lot of bad language was used. Fortunately, my husband is quite handy and has a plethora of tools, and when I was about to throw in the towel, he swooped in to help out some with some of the misaligned holes. Still, it's not as stable as I had hoped, and while the jewelry and hats I make don't weigh a lot, I can't shake the feeling that things might come apart if someone bumps into the display.It's not ideal, but I'll make it work. If you're lucky enough to get one that all lines up properly I would figure you'd be really happy with this grid wall group.

I'm very disappointed in this display stand. It looks like it would be a nice sturdy place to display items at craft fairs, in a craft room or in a storage area. However, one family member tried putting it together and after a half an hour they gave up because they only managed to get one screw part of the way in. After a few days a second family member tried putting it together. They spent closer to an hour before giving up. The majority of the drilled screw holes are not lined up correctly. The rest of the drilled screw holes are either not drilled deep enough or they are drilled at the wrong angles.

Let me say first and foremost, these grid panels look great assembled and I LOVE the sign holders on top. But ...After hours of assembling, disassembling, and potentially reassembling correctly, I finally have this unit put together and standing. My recommendation is to simply purchase three separate single panels of grid wall and zip tie them together into any of these configurations. Although this unit looks GREAT and is sturdy, the included hinges aren't all that useful. Once you have the panels in place (which you can only do while they're lying down) there's no way to lock them in place. But you can't zip tie it at this point if you want to arrange it in a configuration other than flat, so you have to stand it up and hope the hinges don't slip apart in the process. Once it's standing, the slightest movement in the wrong direction will make it come unhinged, and you'll have to lay it back down and start over. This unit has so much to like about it, but the three panel configuration is not the selling point!! Also, once you've put these panels together, you're not going to assemble and disassemble them every art fair or show, so having them come apart in halves doesn't really have any benefit either (unless you have the smallest of small cars that you're transporting them in). I will be keeping the panels together (single panels), removing the hinges, and using these with zip ties.If you've read this far and you still decide to go ahead with this purchase (because again, these panels are actually really nice!!), just note this: arrange the panels on the floor before you start assembling and line up where the hinges will go. If you don't see a hole beneath the hinge, flip the piece over. Once you have holes under all of the hinges, make sure that the hinge configuration makes sense. Think in advance about how you'll be assembling the panels. The included instructions are terrible and you will waste a lot of time assembling and reassembling. Don't wait and do this for the first time at an art show or festival.

The grid wall versus standard wire hooks is sort of an oddity in shelving. It does increase the weight and trays that can be assembled. The wheels are not going to hold up to a lot of weight, I took them off and permanently mounted them to the floor. Very versatile lay up and straightforward assembly.
