Your cart is empty.Grivel designed its G10 Crampon for a wide range of uses whether you're mountaineering, ski touring, trekking, traveling across glaciers, or keeping an extra pair for a beginning buddy. Made with Cro-Moly steel, the G10 is lightweight and flexible so it won't add much weight to your pack on an alpine adventure. Its New-Classic attachment system is so easy that Grivel debated whether or not it needed instructions. All you have to do is open the durable Zytel Dupont plastic harness, slide your boot in, and secure it tightly with one pull. This aspect, along with the inexpensive price, makes the G10 an excellent crampon for beginners and experts. Another fantastic feature on the G10 is the Active anti-balling system. This system clears snow from your foot every step you make so you get maximum traction on every slippery slope and security when you need it most. With two front points and minimal points underneath the G10, this crampon will suit children and others with smaller feet who don't require as many points as big-footed people. The G10 is fully adjustable thanks to its flex bar, but it doesn't fold over on itself when it comes time to stash it in your pack.

Used today to climb Mt St Helens. Easy to install and worked flawlessly. Used max size setting to fit size 12 boots. I don't think it would work for anything larger.

Great crampons for semi technical mountaineering. Grivel has been a making great crampons for a very long time. My only gripe is that the bar it comes with does not support my boot size and I had to buy a $15 extended bar. It seems like they should shift the spectrum of sizes which it can accommodate up some. I know far more mountaineers who wear size 13+ than I do who wear size 6>.

I bought these to climb Mt Shasta (CA) and they were fantastic! They have enough flex to be comfortable and never came loose. I wore a men's size 11 boot and I had to extend them out all the way, but they fit the boot perfectly. Easy to lace up a take off too. The store in town rents these to all climbers, and I know why. Great crampons!

I am a splitboarder with a size 12 boot, they work. Typical grivel product, very well made. You cant go wrong with these. Especially if you have big feet.

Bought these for hiking and winter mountaineering in the Adirondacks, and have tackled very icy alpine trails at -25F to low angle ice and snow climbs with these, they've even been scrapped over their fair share of rock, and in their place, they're great. I prefer Grivel over Black Diamond for my winter hardware for their use of chromolly steel which is more durable and reliable. Will buy again when (if) my current pair has to be retired. For more serious mountaineering crampons, consider the G12s.
