Works great. Easy to use and assemble. Includes the needed screwdriver.Get yourself an organizer box for all the little bits that come with.I made eyeholes in fabric shoes. It was so cool. Punched out the holes with ease. Put eyelits in with ease. Love it.Others in my class had issues using cheep eyelits but the ones that came with the kit did great

104 grommets and about 3 hours later (most of that time was spent measuring), I can confidently confirm this is a great product. It was a little confusing at first as there werent really any instructions, but once I got the hang of it, using it was extremely easy. Again, I did 104 grommets in this piece (plus a handful of practice ones) and it only took 3 hours and I took a few breaks for my hand. I often see reviews of grommets where the metal will split after pressing, this really only happened 3 times and they were very very minor cracks. The grommets are about 1/4 inch in total diameter, the eyelet is a tad smaller. I was worried they were going to be a little too small when I opened the box, but I ended up being very happy with the final product. The other colors included were also very nice, I used the darker bronze ones. Both silver were very similar but one was a bit darker. The tool that cut the holes was very sharp but you do have to press down a bit hard to get a clean cut. The hole the tool cut was a perfect fit for the grommets. The fabrics I used were two basic cotton broadcloths and a layer of slightly heavy weight sew-in interfacing. The tie is just a cotton string.TDLR; everyone should get this set for doing their grommets, super easy and sturdy grommets.

The idea is nice...the tool handles well and the spring works well...but the cutter tip is worthless...it makes a tiny, tiny hole that the grommets DO NOT fit through. It presses the gromets nicely...but once again, you need a good hole to fit the grommet through. Sadly I think this will have to be returned and the other style purchased

For the money this is a handy set. The tool is awesome. The grommets could be of better quality but the price is so good you can’t complain.

Such a great little tool. Worked perfect for my project. The tool could be more solid in the handle because I can see how it could break with too much squeeze. But since I knew others were having problems with it breaking I made sure not to squeeze too hard. Also, the cutter attachment worked fine for my fabric. I tried out on single layer muslin and then on interfaced silk corset and it worked fine for both. It was worth the buy

I ordered this yesterday and it arrived today. I used it on about 19 flannel banner flags that I made for a welcome home thing. Flanner can be sort of stretchy but it worked out just fine. As a matter of fact, I forgot to put on the back pieces of the eyelets/grommets and it all still worked well for my purposes. Now I just want to know if I can purchase the fittings for the same tool but for a 1/8 inch sized eyelet. Will reach out to seller.P.S. I see other people stating the hole made is too small for the grommet, or conversely, the grommet is too large for the hole. I measured the grommets and personally I think they are more towards 1/4 inch rather than the stated 3/16th's.
