This isolator did a great job of isolating my cable box ground once I managed to get the input side connected. When I got the isolator, the center hole on the input side was too tight and would not let the center coax wire to go in. I requested a return and ordered a second one. The second one had exactly the same issue. Once I managed to get the cable on (by using one of the two units’ output side to plug into the other one’s input) it worked fine. The quality is good and the price is reasonable. I took one star away because of all the time I had to spend to get the cable connected to it.

It did kill the hum but added signal loss that the TV picture was distorted and almost unwatchable. Tried it a few times at each end of the cable, checked the connections, etc. The TV signal is fine without the isolator. So definitely its the isolator which is adding a signal loss.

It’s hard to believe how well that little isolator works for the price that’s paid for it. Went from having lots of humming from multiple pieces of equipment to none.

The product seemed to be good quality. It did help to partially eliminate my 120hz ground loop hum from my cable box. Definitely much less audible than without it.It also keeps the cable box from improperly sending a signal to my subwoofer amplifier when the cable box is off. For some reason the cable box was waking up my sub amp out of standby mode. But with this isolator attached t9 the cable box it doesn’t happen anymore. The standby mode on my sub amp works properly now.
