This ring saw is awesome. Very easy to get set up and start using. I was a little daunted by the price but I am so glad I made this purchase. I just cut my first piece and it was a mess BUT I can see where this is going and it is going to be a game changer in my glass studio! It is well worth the price!

Had nothing but problems with this Ring Saw. It kept jamming and binding up. I followed the directions and had help with it. I had to clear it and reassemble it 6 times and it never did work right. I sent it back to the company and they only refunded me half of what I paid for it. Very disappointed.

Kind of difficult to seat the saw in the well. Have to fixture to cut a straight line. The saw sprays water in front of the blade making it hard to see a cutting line. As far as cutting glass it does just fine

This is a hobby saw that suffers the basic problem of wet-cutting tools, maybe as an evolution of tile cutters that have a reservoir in the base into which waste material is deposited. In this tool, that waste material has a tendency to be carried into the internal belts and cutting wire. Waste material, from small particles to chunks of glass builds up quickly, and the reservoir is shallow so that it doesn't take long for the machine to abruptly stop, and require cleaning or clearing away debris. The warranty is fairly useless since the moving parts are actually consumables. The body is cheap, but not fragile, and the weird thing is the plastic "guard" also functions as a structural component that has to be in place to keep the casing closed. The price is significant for a tool like this.Admittedly, I liked the broader working area and the idea that the saw could be detached. But in practical application it's unreliable.
