This stamp works great! Gonna use this for mail and labels from all my online purchases to wipe out my name and address. Using this stamp and my cross shredder takes care of most everything with my name on it. Another thing i needed help with was medication bottle labels. Good tip was to apply heat (long lighter or blow dryer). Most pill labels are printed on thermal paper, so applying heat works! This stamp does not work well on plastic labels as others have mentioned, even if you leave it overnight to dry. It will just wipe off, then you can still read the name and address. As far as labels printed on shiny or plastic labels, im still searching for the best method to mask my name and address. I dont want to run a sticky label thru my cross cut shredder. That just makes a mess. Done that before.

You all know about stolen identity, which unfortunately happens in our society. Buy this little thing and use it. I guarantee that it will protect you from people who are interested in becoming you. Takes one second, and it covers all info you don’t want to share with any stranger. I am ready to buy a next one. Good product!

This is a decent option if you don’t want to buy a shredder but it’s not perfect. I definitely had to stamp down a few times to feel like my information was redacted plus the time it takes looking for all the personal info and the fact that the ink doesn’t really work on glossy paper…just buy the shredder. Also my ink started to dry up sooner than I was expecting

Seems to work fine, although the ink takes a while to dry. You'll have to be careful not to rub against it. But it does what I wanted, it obscures the addresses, etc.Update: I had this over a year, and it worked ok. I had also ordered refills to have on had. DO NOT order ahead like I did. Even though they were still sealed up,they apparently have gone bad or something. They still feel moist, but the stamper does not print like it did at all. Truthfully I am not sure which is to blame . The stamper or the refills. It is all trash now.

On coated paper, such as the label on an Amazon package, it's practically useless. The ink does not soak in and barely dries. Immediately after stamping, I could easily smear the ink to see what it was covering. I let it sit for a couple of days and even then, the ink was still not dry and could still be smudged. If you want to rely on this to protect your personal/private info, be sure to use it ONLY on non-coated surfaces. Even then, wait a while after stamping, then test to be sure the ink has dried and can't be wiped away.

Works well. I haven’t used it long enough to see how long the ink lasts. It takes a little while to dry on non porous paper (magazine and catalogs and postcards) but dries quickly on office paper and newspaper. I haven’t tried wiping it after to see if it wipes off. I use it mostly to cover my mailing address and name. For things like bank statements and personal info I still prefer shredding. Or better yet stamping with this and then shredding... which may be overkill.
