A great and simple ladder stand, it is good quality but it’s has no frills. Once set up it’s nice and sturdy, the platform has good room on it, the seat is a little small but it’s nice that it pivots upwards. I was able to set it up myself although it was a bear to get up on the tree alone. For the money it’s a great buy.

This stand was easy to set up. I did it by myself on private land. I use an extension ladder to install a large eye hook in the tree just above where the top of the stand meets the tree and use a rope from the stand, through the eye hook and back to me to stand up the tree stand to the tree. Then I attached the platform using a chain with an all thread bolt to tighten it to the tree. That way there is no problem with squirrels chewing a fabric strap. I added an extra ladder support, as I think a stand this high needs two. That is my only beef with the stand. The height is perfect. The fold up seat is a very good option for standing. I only sat this stand once, but I harvested a very nice 11-point whitetail the first day of my hunt November 11, 2024. I bought another to set up next year.

I set it up a couple times a little too far from the road, it's heavy and you will hate the idea of setting it up and retrieving it.... But its solid and works well so for the price its a good deal.

Not being picky one bit. Just put this stand up this afternoon. Great idea for height and style. That’s as far as it goes. This thing is junk . Every connection makes noise. Not a very rigid stand. Each connection was designed with a slot that the pin goes through allowing it to move. They made slip collars to stiffen the connections that are sloppy and make noise. Once mounted to the tree firmly if you stand up the platform it squeaks all over and wiggles. Going to take some work to polish this turd. Wish i hadn’t bought it. Will probably cost me a shot at a nice buck in the morning if I see one. I’m going to take it down after my morning hunt. If they spent a little more money and a different design on how it goes together It’s a great IDEA . I would have paid more for a solid design. I thought it would be like my older 15’ ladder stands that are solid. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Nice Stand for the price. This is shipped directly from Sportsmans Guide. The advantage of buying through Amazon was the free shipping, yet because it came from SG - no sales tax. The stand is well made with a larger foot platform than typical of ladder stands at this price. The flip up seat is also a nice feature since you can easily stand up and stretch your legs after sitting for awhile.

Basic ladder stand -Pros - Value, sturdy and well built.Cons - Finish is marginal at best- flakes/rubs off in certain areas - will need to paint to prevent rust. Assembly instructions might as well been in another language or non existent. Very difficult to interpret - toss them in the trash.Heavier than other options out there. Would buy again if I don't switch stand types.

Great tree stand for the money. Assembly went well, no parts missing. Put stand up yesterday no surprises. I would buy another one. Great stand for archery, no arms rests to get in the way.
