I added this to my Summit Viper aluminum stand. It is designed to be a universal fit for many brands of tree stands. It is a little heavier than I think it needs to be, but the ability to stretch your legs out a little further during your sit make the extra weight worth the effort. You can put the footrest in three positions: stored, partially extended, fully extended. I like it fully extended, or straight out. It is best to select the position BEFORE you climb the tree, unless you are an acrobat!

Definitely adds weight, but it really made the difference in sitting for long stretches. It lets you extend your legs out and support your weight better. Will not use any climber or ladder stand without one of these or something similar anymore.

I own the Summit viper SD and found my self wanting to stretch my legs but it would leave my feet hanging off of platform. So I searched footrests for summit tree stands and located this one. Absolutely perfect leg stretch with feet supported for all day comfort. If you don’t own this accessory get it, it’s a game changer!

It was heavier then expected. Went with the summit full pul down bar for the mini viper, a lot lighter
Doesn’t fit my summit stand at all .
