Nice little pickup for the price. Cable is long enough and the 1/4” connector is firmly attached. A little tinny sounding, but for the price, it is good enough and should be able to be compensated for through the amp. The sticky tape on the back is such that twisting the pickup while lifting it, the device can be moved around the guitar for convenience and sound quality. Do not try to pull the device off by pulling it straight off. Nice pickup for beginners like me. Pros might want something better.

It sounds very good stuck on the interior ring of a metal banjo. The glue disk isn't very strong, so I reglued it myself with stronger stuff. The sound quality is good enough for gigs.

Dimensions are taller than expected, so it won't fit on the sound box of my santoor underneath the strings. If you are planning to use this for a dulcimer-style instrument where the strings pass over the sound box, pay close attention to the size and measure how much space you have between the strings and the body of the instrument near the sound holes. For a guitar it's fine because you can put this pickup inside the sound hole, but in dulcimers like mine there are several small decorative holes, which are not large enough to place this inside. I'm making do with this pickup mounted on the edge of my santoor, but it would be much better if it could fit near the sound holes where the instrument sounds the best. One good thing about it that I did not notice in the description is that the cord can be disconnected from the pickup, so you don't have to trail a cord around if you need to move the instrument.

Cheap rubbish, you get what you pay for. Given the poor performance, I have no idea what this would be suitable for.

Size is perfect for my kalimba including the length of the cord. However, when connected to my Joy mini/speaker it produces an extra vibrating sound when tuned into its highest volume and sound quality is not really that good . But great to use when you just want to practice with your instrument.
