It gets the job done. Not the smoothest or easiest touch, but do they tune the guitar? Yes. Will they last a lifetime? Who knows how long I will live. They work for now, and they have a classic look.

Buttons are nice off white color, not yellow. Metal is nickel. Gears are smooth feeling. I'll install these on my resonator guitar, put a drop of oil on each geer, tune up, and play happily ever after. But really, how do they have such nice tuners so cheap?

This thing! What a waste of money, man. Don't bother. They are not made correctly. The holes have been drilled willy billy where they do not match up to ANY instrument as they should.

I am restoring an acoustic guitar from the 1940's... that on the inside states, 'suited and passed for radio transmission'; which gives an estimate of the age.Despite being about 80 years old, happily the tuners exactly align and fit the fitting holes of the original tuners!The gears are tight and mesh very well.
