The sandpaper comes in sealed packages in a small box but it wasn’t separated and the sandpaper was all mixed up or, at least mine was. The sandpaper just barely fits the sanding pad. I noticed that the sandpaper moved around a little while sanding and you have to pay attention because I ended up with part of the pad exposed and it got messed up (just the very edge, it still works pretty well). I think if the sandpaper had been just a little larger, I don’t think the sanding pad would have gotten exposed and messed up.The sandpaper did do a very good job of sanding though and it didn’t wear down too quickly either. The sanding pads themselves are pretty decent quality (just make sure to keep them covered with the sandpaper when you are sanding).The problem I feel with the sandpaper is the hook & loop backing on the paper. I think it is a little too thin and weak. I didn’t have any sandpaper come off in use but as I mentioned above, it may move around a little when you are sanding. I also noticed on a couple pieces of sandpaper that the hook & loop had torn a little on the back of the sandpaper. If it wasn’t for the perceived flaws in the hook & loop, I would have given these at least a four on the rating.When I use these types of sanding pads on a multi-tool, I always turn the speed down as I feel that helps to keep the pad from getting too hot and prolongs the life of the pad.
