This thread is of excellent quality. I used to use Singer denim thread and that one always had too much lint that was clogging my sewing machine. This thread is much better, virtually lint free and very good looking. I definitely recommend it for sewing denim or any other thicker material.

This thread is good and strong , however I’ve notice it give off fuzz when sewing on high speed other than that it’s a great product. Fuzz require frequent machine maintenance my only draw back with this product.

This is a very strong thread and the color combination is really nice for jeans or other projects where a brown, grey, or blue thread is needed. Much thicker than regular garment thread. If your sewing machine has a cutter on the presser foot holder you might struggle a bit so keep some sharp scissors handy.

The color options were perfect to match with factory top stitching. This is a heavier thread and I had to increase my tension from 3 to 5 on a Singer machine. The results appear just like a factory hem.

The Gutermann Denim Thread set is a very useful selection of six colours that match almost any denim jean threads you may have. Gutermann does sell a set of 12 with expanded colours, but these six are the most useful. The entire Gutermann Denim thread line comes in 35 colours.The Gutermann Denim thread is a Tex 60 weight thread, with 600/2 construction (two ply, dtex 600). It is similar to the industrial-sector Gutermann Mara 50, which is also a Tex 60 thread but that is 600/3 with a tighter twist.Gutermann Denim lies in between the common Gutermann Sew-All (Tex 30 weight, aka Gutermann Mara 100, 300/2 construction) but not quite as heavy as the Gutermann M782 Extra Strong, which is Tex 70. Gutermann Denim is also slightly thicker than Gutermann Jeans (Tex 40, 430/2).I find Guterman Denim works well with a 100/16 denim needle.
