Received faster than expected. Box was heavy so automatically thought it was going to be durable. My last $50 package delivery box was damaged by Texas winds even though I had 40lbs in dumbbells in the bottom, the winds snapped the lid right off.Bought this and paid $70 in shipping (jeez). But yes arrived quickly so I’m thankful for that. Read reviews and seemed to be pretty good.Instructions were thorough. I soloed the build so it took some time. I even added a motion light to the inside for our delivery folk who often show up after 10pm or before 6am. Once it was complete I was happy with the look. The look only.Pros: it looks great. Instructions were easy to follow. Code is easy to program. Frame is solid. It’s heavy and doubt the winds I deal with will move it around. It has balancing screws to adjust for uneven ground. Hardware is top notch.Cons: Although it can be secured, a 10 y/o can put their foot through it and steal your packages, the wood is as thin as cardboard. The lid will not shut. Even though I loosed the shocks and the hinges the lid will not settle. It is not waterproof, even if the lid shut completely, the lid will still allow water to come in if you get rains like we do in Texas.All in all, ask yourself if you want security, weatherproof, convenience, or something that looks good. If you find all of the above at an acceptable price, I think you found it.

Assembly was slow, and I needed another person to help at a couple points. Instructions were fairly clear. Product looks good, but doesn't feel very durable, like I could easily kick in the side of it to get what's inside. Also, the lid isn't heavy enough to fully engage the hydraulics, so it sits open 3-4 inches on the front. Overall, it works as a package theft deterrent, but won't prevent anyone who is okay with destroying property.

Well made, metal and wood construction so better theft avoidance. The wood will need to be sealed from weather.

This is nice for medium and small packages. Has a combination lock so you don’t have to worry about porch thieves

Perfect solution for package drop off at our front gate. We'll built and sturdy. Just pour a small concrete slab and bolt it down

I am a master pre-fab furniture builder, but this was really tough to assemble. Definitely not a one-person project. Some holes didn’t line up well which made it extra hard. I honestly left some unfinished. It looks good on our porch and seems to function well overall.Delivery people use it about 80% of the time. The sticker that goes on top is not weatherproof and looks pretty bad after about a week of rain.Not sure there is much better on the market that isn’t plastic, which is what I wanted to avoid.
