I did not expect much, but was pleasantly surprised with the feel of this bridge. It can be used as throubody bridge and top. Although, I would countersink the holes for through body applicationas the holes are just drilled and unfinished. The bridge does not appear to be a drop in replacement for anything so prepare to drill mounting holes. It is pretty heavy or as they say "hi-mass" bridge. The saddles are great and have some room for spacing adjustment. All saddle screws work great, do not stick out and allow for good amount of adjustments. The intonation screws however might need to be shortened on the 3rd and fourth as the adjustment holes in saddles are bling and the crew can bottom out before you get where you are going. Was not a problem for one of the bases, but in another, I had to shorten. It depends on strings really. Nothing rattles or falls off, the adjustments are easy and smooth. Finish is also very good, mirror, on both, black and chrome. As for sound... I am not really a believer that bridge has an effect on sound. On Peavey bass, this sounds just as well, sustains great, and definitely a huge improvement with adjustability. On JB, the heavy weight of the bridge seemingly improves the neck dive... It also imo looks better than original without screws sticking out everywhere and does not slide side to side. For the price, it is a no brainer. I wish it would be a drop in replacement for fenders, other than that, this is pretty awesome. For a nes build, definitely should be a #1 pick.

This is a nicely made bridge. It offers adjustable string spacing. The only issue I had was when setting up the bass I’m building I could not adjust the saddles back far enough. The issue is the intonation adjustment screws are all the same length. So I got the G and D strings intonated but the A and E won’t go back far enough. I had to cut the screws shorter.

Not as described.Advertised as adjustable down to .656" string spacing, but actually it can't be adjusted to any narrower than .75". Did they send me the wrong bridge? No idea, since there's no model number on the bridge or on the package. If you're looking for an inexpensive bridge of this type, and you aren't looking for spacing narrower than .75", this would be a great value. It's not as pretty as a $100+ bridge, but it's acceptable for the price, and I would have been satisfied if it had been as described. But if you're looking for a bridge capable of narrow spacing, THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT

Overall this seems to be a fairly well designed bridge. The idea of having a fine tuning adjustment for string spacing is fantastic! However, as you can see from the pictures, when they drilled and tapped the locking screw hole they left some remnants. This stopped the ability to bias the saddle in either direction. All that was needed was to run a drill bit through the hole once…presto it can slide back and forth freely. Also I would include a set of 4 more shorter screws for intonation adjustment since the design doesn’t allow for much travel. If you’re handy you can just cut the screw shorter though! Overall, not a bad product, just be ready to do some DIY work on it when you first get it.

I used this as an upgrade bridge for a Fender Squier Affinity bass. This bridge is vast improvement over the stock Squier bridge. Tone, sustain, and tunability are really good. The only issue I had was installation. It, as others have mentioned, is not a screw-in replacement for the stock bridge. It has two forward mount screws and four back line ones none of which line up to the stock holes (you wouldn't want to locate them there anyway). The bridge is wider and longer than the stock bridge which means you should mount this bridge farther back from the stock location (much like a Badass does). Mark the original location with a sharpie and extend the lines past the edge of the bridge so that you can see the lines when the new bridge covers the stock location up. Mark the approximate location of the E and G string saddles(this gives you a starting point for intonation with out measuring the scale length). Remove the stock bridge and draw a center line through the measured middle of the bridge front to back (parallel to the strings between A and D). Mark the middle of the Guyker bridge and line it up to this line. I found that lining up the front line of the old bridge and the front of the Guyker worked out pretty well. Mark the pilot holes for the screws taking care not to move the bridge. Drill the pilot holes then screw the bridge down. you can remove the sharpie marks with alcohol. Set the initial intonation. The E and A string saddle screws will need to be shortened to recover enough adjustment to complete this process. I did this with a cutter wheel on a Dremel tool. The threading does not go all the way through the saddle and therefore bottoms out before full adjustment can be made. The design of the saddle and the fact it can be used as a through the body string setup sort of forces this issue. It took me 30 minutes total using this method. I pushed the saddles back under string tension to guess how much length needed to be cut from the saddle screws. This bridge changed the whole feel of the bass. It now plays far more like my low-action MIJ Geddy Lee Jazz bass now. The tone and sustain has also greatly improved. The quality of the finish and the mass of this product is really good. I'm thinking about using this product on a few other basses that I have. It's no Leo Quan, but it's a far cry from the stock stamped metal abomination that it had! Would really recomment it.

The production and materials are all very good here. I'm very impressed with the quality of Guyker parts. If you're ordering one be sure to do the math using the technical drawings given. I was hoping to get a 5/8" equi-spacing between the four strings, however, as is clear in the drawings, we can get 5/8 between two adjacent strings but then the other strings are farther apart. That's okay, I'm keeping this lovely piece for another project. Oh, and contacting Guyker for questions was a very positive and helpful communication. Top points all around. 5/5

I appreciate the adjustability of the bridge but the actual screws that come with the bridge are garbage quality. Found myself having to replace them with better quality screws.
