Definitely can see the HA400 Headphone Amplifier getting a lot of use. Plugged in my HiFiman headphones that need a lot of juice to get loud and they got loud.Tethered this HA400 Headphone Amplifier using the JUNSKY USB C to 1/4 inch Audio Cable to my Android's charging port and to my Fire Tablet's charging port. The headphones sounded great using either device streaming HD music. I also plugged in the Philips Fidelio X2HR and the Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Headphones into the amp at the same time and gave all the headphones a listen at different volume. Clear audio and lots of headroom.I will be able to enjoy listening sessions w/ my GF and other friends now. Very happy.I guess the only downside is that the HA400 Headphone Amplifier is not portable at all as it needs to be plugged in to power the headphones. But I have a portable Dac/Amp for portability anyhow so this serves a different function in that I can share music with multiple listeners.Oh and the other review for this was correct in that there is a loud audible thump when you plug headphones in, so plug them in first and then turn on the the amp.

So far, I haven’t had any issues; has been working well for my small use case and have tested with my few mid range headphones. When setting this up, the first thing I noticed was that the power cord is pretty short. This isn’t the end of the world and there are plenty of workarounds, but as a suggestion to the maker.Recommended to read a handful of reviews before purchasing. But it’s working great for me.

When I first plugged this in I got horrible buzzing in slot 1 and the others did not work. I rebooted everything and plugged this amp in. It then produced sound and no buzzing but the music sounded like the singer was underwater. I may have received a defective unit.

This is a great headphone splitter. It's very compact and simple in design. The output is clean without distortion. The volume controls work well and transition smoothly. The only missing feature is a power button (turns on when plugged in), but it's not a deal-breaker. Overall a good value!

I like this box a lot. Designed very efficiently and so simple to use. I tested with two different types of headphones, Audio-Technica and Fostex. These are both high-end headphones but with different gain levels. With the level knobs on this box, I could adjust both to the same volume with excellent audio. I did not detect any distortion and the stereo spread was accurate. I will be using this in my home studio recording live with multiple people and/or to monitor recording. The only negative is the length of the power cord - it's about 3 ft and could easily be double that length for studio use. Desptite that, this comes highly recommended.
