A: Increase the sensitivity and try again; Automatic mode is not controlled by music, only voice control mode can.

It barely worked and when it did the dials needed to be oriented in a very weird and confusing configuration to change the colors and strobe rate. The remote didn’t work with the unit and I changed the battery in it thinking it was dead. This unit is absolute garbage.
