My parakeet's beaks and nails grow like crazy. They are not socialized so I took them to the vet to have them trimmed. These perches work great and are much cheaper.

I have a spice finch with very stubborn claws and beak. These are simply too large for him to grasp, and I don't think that parakeets would be able to use them either. They are exactly what they're advertised as--sturdy, easily placed perches for medium birds. Think conures, not parakeets. Very rough texture, sturdy--not easy to clean, but great for thick claws and beaks.

Generally a good value. The washers need to be larger in size. They sag with the small washer with my african greys.

Easy to assemble.No weird smells.And yes it comes with all 4.I use it for parakeets. 2 fit on a branch.I would say you could get away with using for a cockatiel as well. And a conure.It definitely has helped with their claws. Keeping them a little more rounded off.So far nothing has started peeling either.
