I’ve had this lemon squeezer for over a year and it still works great with no metal wear or damage. If you clean it properly (hand wash with a little soap and cloth/sponge) and not just rinse it after use it should last a long time and not rust or degrade the metal. Those who wrote reviews about the metal warping over time, I am not sure how that could happen. I squeeze lemons regularly and have never had any warping.

The description lists this squeezer as 'Large' - it is not! I bought this to ease the processing of over 300 lemons from my tree and the squeezer could barely handle the smallest of them. There was NO way this tool could handle the standard size lemon, let alone the larger ones from my tree. I also compared the efficacy of this tool with my plastic juicer tray in regard to juice production, fruit waste and ease of use. On all three points, the juice tray I use now was easier to use and provided more juice that this product.After using this item on one lemon, more than a 1/3 of the lemon was still left in the peel. I squeezed the two halves of this tool completely together so there was no way I could do anymore - with that much waste, it was clear this item was going back. Also, the construction of this item is poor as the two halves wobble from side to side. The hinge joint feels as if it is ready to break apart and is not solidly built. Do yourself a favor and don't purchase. You have been warned.

This is my second one of these juicers. The first one after about 3 months the handles did not align and it almost looks like it was deformed. After receiving the new one it has worked out great and one of the best juicers that I have had in recent history. Overall it looks like the quality has improved, fits inside of my kitchen drawer and seems to get all of the juice out of the fruit

After 2 years of use it started to bend but that’s because I was squeezing a whole lemon or lime so I went with a different brand and it broke after a day so I’m gonna return to buy another one of these because at least this lasted with the abuse, I work in restaurants so I’m use to using the cast iron lemon squeezers that can take a lot of abuse and squeeze like 6-7 lemons or limes

Would have really enjoyed this, if it hadn’t broken after squeezing two lemon halves.Our previous hand citrus juicer had broke so we figured since we make cocktails a lot we’d try a bigger one. And for the two times we used it we did get a lot more juice out of the citrus than normal! So I would recommend this style of juicer, but not this one.

This product is made from cast aluminium not stainless steel. It works well for its intended purpose. I'm happy with the purchase.
