Your cart is empty.Have you ever wanted to try crabbing but didn't have a boat? Have you ever done it with a fishing pole? Imagine hanging out on the beach and reeling in something other than a fish and preparing a crab dish for the family dinner tonight. Growing up in San Francisco Bay Area, we have caught crabs in many areas along the west coast, from the jetty, piers and surf. We have used both hoop nets and castable crab traps. Hoop nets are only best when you have a boat, but on land, it would be our crab traps hands down, as your can hunt from anywhere while people tend to crowd up at the piers. We have tested several different products and experimented with a variety of materials to create something that has everything we want in our product. Most important of all, we wanted to have a great time catching crabs with friends and family and not fixing things. We want the same for you.

Snags the crab and keeps them snagged as they’re reeled. I like the slender profile of the trap, the removable weight, and the springiness of the loops. They just bounce right back into place. Will definitely buy more for future use. Gotta get those crabs!!

It’s a good emergency / last minute snare. I’m a NorCal crabber as well and I’m sure we run in the same circles. I know a bunch of guys that make better but they are on site. The pier here has been closed off for years ( politics ). Anyway, the snare is just ‘ok’. Not good or great. Basically a couple points up from store bought.

Great design and quality. Caught 3 jumbos off the pier and couldn’t be happier with its performance. Planning to buy a couple more for my sons. Let’s go!!!

was a little surprised at how small and light they are, i guess for the money spent, $70 cad, i expected a little more, will give them a try this weekend and if they catch crab ill edit the star count
