i love the concept. I use it to scan wood for nails and screws and staples before running through planer. I had another metal detector which broke so got this one to replace that one... very disappointed. It will find some nails if they are right there at the surface and you are moving slowly. I do better just with my eyes at this point. I'll keep searching for a good detector. sad.
