Assembling these devices was simple. I bought 1/2" course thread stainless steel all thread rod and followed the instructions. It took appropriate tools to cut and deburr the threads ( cut off grinder and a file), but that was the only tools needed (use the nut to clean the freshly cut thread). After proper measurement, adjusting and applying the turnbuckle was simple. After a 3,000 mile, 5 state trip, my 10 foot slide in camper didn't shift at all. Best of all: no more turnbuckle turning by hand, a simple clamp down function was all it took. Should of done this long ago. Well worth the money.

Can't go wrong with these tie-downs. Quality construction, easy to mount and use. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would....

The product wasn't a good fit. I tried to return it after 32 days (travelling) and they wouldn't accept it because of a 30-day return period. It's 2019, this rigidity sinks sellers when we all have options
