I travel a lot with my Video and Audio equipment and want to keep everything safe.Needed a small but durable case to protect my X8 recorder and this fit perfectly.Has enough internal space for the X8 and accessories. Keeps it safe but its also not extremely rigid or heavy. Very lightweight and compact.I put my X8 in this case, plus a deadcat and some batteries and all arrived perfect from my flight to and from. Definitely needed if you want to travel with your X8 and not have it damaged.

Everything fits nicely and is compact to keep cables etc all together.

As you can see from the photo there's way too much space around the Tascam. The case is well built and would be great for a larger device but it's simply the wrong shape for this one.
