Versatile Tools
It is a reliable and versatile tool for woodworkers to achieve precision drilling in woodworking projects. Do not drill metal and non-ferrous metals. Make sure there are no nails or other metal objects in the wood before drilling.
Note: Use a cutting oil or lubricant, control the speed, apply pressure gradually, clear debris, and always wear personal protective equipment. Always keep the forstner bit firmly in place when drilling. The cutting edge and tip of the opener should be sharpened in time.

Usage
The forstner drill bit can be used with handheld drills, drill presses, CNC routers, and lathes. Recommended to use on desktop (fixed) equipment.
The forstner drill bit adopts 45# carbon steel shank, which has good strength, durability and sufficient rigidity.

I had a need for a bit that would make a flat bottomed hole in a piece of furniture. This bit worked like a charm with me using a handheld battery operated drill. Its was sharp enough to make a hole without having to apply much pressure. I would buy this brand again.

This is not a Forstner bit. it is more of a butterfly bit. Will not follow the hole. wanders and wobbles even using a pilot hole. Not serrated. WOULD NOT PURCHASE.

It was delivered in a timely manner, however it did not perform as well as expected.

the center spur is not deep enough to keep the bit centered using hand drill and the side spurs cause bit to wander. Recommend using this bit with drill press only.

Other bits I own of this type provide a smooth cut. This blade vibrates.
