I use Z-style stands in my studio, but I use these for gigs. This is my second Harmony stand, and I LOVE them. Very quick to set up, tear down, and transport. I just leave the mic boom attached to one of them, because it's a pain to screw and unscrew them. Not the stand's fault, that's just the way mic booms work, LOL. While not nearly as sturdy as the Z stands, it holds the rather deep/large Roland Fantom 6 (61 keys, 30+ pounds) just fine. A Fantom 8? Probably not, but that thing is a total beast! Highly recommended unless you're toting a really heavy 88 key behemoth.

It's been working great for me. It has condensed my equipment area and it looks good as well.

This stand has been great. Sturdy and inexpensive. one of the cable management hoops was busted when I got it out of the box, but I don't really use them anyway. so it didn't bother me. quick to assemble and tear down. It's held my little Akai controller and my large Jupiter 50 both securely. Recommended.

I have owned an Ultimate Deltex stand for years. After our last gig, the detachable leg went missing so I needed to replace it. I wanted a stand that didn't have to be taken apart in order to not repeat the current situation so I looked around. I saw that this Harmony stand got solid reviews so I ordered it. I am really impressed with it. It's all self-contained...took it out of the box and set it up in about 60 seconds. The arms on both tiers have nice non-skid rubbery matte surface and the support legs tuck up into the bottom of the stand. I'll use it for light duty in that I use an Evolution 49 key MIDI controller and a laptop as my stage rig so I didn't need anything that would support a big 88 key piano or synth, but needed something easy to setup and carry that could hold a controller and a laptop. There are only 2 slight negatives that I can find: 1) Weight. This thing feels like it weighs a ton. Much more than my previous stand which is the exact same size and style. 2) The knobs that you use to loosen and tighten the support arms are made of plastic. They seem sturdy enough, but I have seen some reviews where they were broken. Only time will tell if this is a true negative or a perceived negative. When I went out to look at what it would cost to replace my previous stand with the newer version, this stand was 50% of the cost. I'd buy this again if it were lost or stolen. It seems well made, looks great, and the price is a great value for a two tier stand. I bought a Gator single compartment speaker stand bag to carry it for about $25. Don't hesitate in buying it. Amazon got it here in two days via Prime and it was in perfect shape when I opened the box.

Sturdy, well-made. Holds my 88-key piano and smaller kedboard with no problem (Yamaha P125 and M-Audio 49e.) Added a short Mic boom, works great. Able to play standing up or sitting down. Unit easily sets up and breaks down for traveling. The ONLY drawback is no carrying handle when broken down, but I can live with that. UPDATE: Using the built-in microphone stand was picking up too much noise when playing hard. Got a short floor stand and boom for the mic which got rid of the rumble as long as it doesn't touch the stand or keyboads. Also bought a small platform that goes on the attached mic stand. Perfect place for my Roland MT-200. Still the best keyboard stand I found!

It does the job but does not feel sturdy. My keyboard shakes while I’m playing. Also during transport, the legs always slide out. It’s a bit awkward.

First time using this for a performance. Man I was so impressed at the durability and framework. This is definitely a great value. And the mic stand connection on top is so useful. Makes it easy for me to operate as a music director on stage for church.

This product looks awesome on stage. I’ve used a few different types of keyboard racks. This is by far my favourite. The only problem which dropped the rating to 4 stars is one of the legs is incredibly difficult to pull out.

I love this stand!! Very sturdy. The only thing I wish it had was a handle and that the top arm tipped a bit more down. Other than that...worth the money!!!
