The setup is more durable than other's I've used in the past and perform just as well. I've used the Gamakatsu weedless wacky hooks before. And while they were nice and sharp I found the plastic wire would often get inverted over the hook and I'd get 2-3 good fish before they were destroyed.These hooks have a metal wire that I can simply bend back in to place and it doesn't seem to affect hookup ratio. They setup lasts a lot longer which is important to me because I'm not buying hooks constantly.One of these hooks did have a dull point but I was fishing a lot of wood and it was probably dulled because I was hooking a lot of logs. Other than that one instance they have been really good to me. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a cheaper, yet good quality replacement to some of the more expensive brands out there.

Crazy!.... I'm converted now... We must have caught 20 bass each in an hour. It was insane. Never had that much fun in such a short time on freshwater.We both suffer now from bass thumb. It was her first time worming and now that is all she wants to use.These hooks made all the difference.

Tye hook itself is great. And the design of the weed guard is good. Something is missing with it and it nay be as simple as I am wanting more from it than what the material will allow. It works right well, better than any other one I've tried.

This is the best weedless hook I have ever used. In 5 days of fishing using these on a wacky rig I've literally landed 14 bass. Get this I only got snagged and had to pop the line once in 5 days! I dont know if its the way the hook is shaped but the Bass literally love this thing. Using these hooks I have landed three Bass so big they broke my 8lb mono line. I had to up my line going forward. These dive in and out of weeds and algae like nothing I ever seen. Barely ever get shrubs or algae. Grab these!

I am a new bass fisherman and the lake I go to is part covered in grass, weeds, and lily pads, and in the middle where it is deeper there are no or very little weeds. I have been using Texas style rigs but I wanted to give this a shot. The first and only time I went out with these hooks the fish didn't seem to be biting (at least at the part of the lake I was in). After a while I was in the clear water in a boat and I casted into the weeds. The only bite I got I ended up catching the biggest bass I had ever caught (or seen others catch). I never bring a net with me because the fish aren't that big, but this fish broke the snap swivel on my line when I was getting ready to pull the hook out it was so heavy. The hook went through the weeds very easy. If a newbie like me can catch fish with these hooks then anyone can.

Greetings,Fished these hooks all day Sunday 6/30, I was having a hard time getting a HookSet with them , I landed one and missed about 7 fish . When I removed the Weedless setup from the Hook, it was game on, I no longer was missing any fish, and ended up with a Dozen.... So far I am not sold on this style of weedless, I will see how it does at another lake in a couple of weeks and Update the review then. thanks Charlie

Haven't used them yet but you can tell these are quality hooks. Razor sharp and the weed guard is of good quality, not thin and flimsy. I got the size 1 and they are perfect for 5 " senkos.
