This is not super sturdy if your horse leans on or challenges gates. My mare will stay put with a lead line draped across the doorway. The clips are not very strong either. But it works fine for my girl and the price was right.

This product is not very strong. The fabric will come lose, the hooks will bend...basically making them worthless. Don't expect to hold a horse in a stall

Likes: solid visual to give the horse the illusion they can't leave when you need to open up a stall area a bit.Cons: the snaps weren't as durable or large as I expected.

Didn’t work well for my horses. They just leaned on it a little and the snaps bend and eventually broke leaving the stalls entrance/exit wide open. If you have a horse that will rub the front of it you may need something more heavy duty. This lasted 5 days for me after I put it up.

Not safe, cheap hardware. My cat could bend it and you have it on something for a horse. I would like a refund. False advertising is shameful

The "sturdy" spring hooks are a bad design. Its hard to pinch to attach to stall loops and when pushed on by the horse and other animals, bend too easily. Within a month, the goats had the hooks bent and let the horse out.

I've tried a few stable guards and the clips eventually fail, this guard has a more normal simple clip with less moving parts so less to go wrong! It also fits really well and great quality. Hope this helps your future choices.

Within 6 hours horse had destroyed this guard. The metal clips are so west that they snapped the first time he leaned on it and couple of hours later all the stitching had ripped, I will be going back to the rubber covered chain guard.

The clips are extremely flimsy that they couldn’t even facilitate my 9.2hh pony gently leaning over. Clips broke and can no longer use unless I buy new clips. Wouldn’t recommend - sadly wasted money.
