I tried to use the stuff you squeeze in Dakota but she had a reaction so I had to find a flea collar. There are so many to choose from and the prices vary so much. They say you get what you pay for but some are just so costly. I had used Hartz products in the past before so many different products even existed so decided to start there. Dakota is an outdoor cat so we keep a flea/tick collar on her all year. These come as a 2 pack that claim to last 7 months each. I like easy to remember things so choose to use them for only 6 months and change it January and July 1st. To date we have not found any fleas or ticks on her or in the house and we live in a wooded area.

My neighbour has quite a few dogs and my 2 cats roam outside daily. I noticed fleas on them when we just started letting them out so I immediately bathed them and purchased these. Works like a charm!!!!! I have never seen a tick or flea on them since I started using this almost 2 years ago. It does last for the 7 months as stated and there isn't an odour like some other products. This is the 3rd time I'm purchasing it and I will not change brands, it is definitely effective and great value for a 2 pack.

I’m not sure what was going on with this pack I normally order and don’t have any problems but these did not work. I don’t know if they were defective or not.

After trying several topical flea treatments on my baby, quite expensive, with minimal if any results (one making her very sick), I decided to try a flea collar for my suffering baby. I checked the ratings for each of the different brands of collars and found that the overall ratings for Hartz were as good as the more expensive brands. So I ordered a 2-pack.I believe many of the negative reviews are due to not following the specific directions properly. I have had no issues, nor has my kitty. Around 24 hrs after putting the collar on her I was combing dead fleas out of her fur. And after a few days now, her areas of raw, irritated skin from scratching are no longer red and are beginning to heal. I’m so relieved something has finally worked!

This product does not kill or prevent fleas, in fact it is other way around, it might attract fleas. I purchased two because the price is cheaper than Serestos. After I replaced it with Serestos and put it on my cats last month, my house was infested with fleas and my 2 cats were suffered. It took me nearly a whole month to clear fleas out completely both on my cats and around my house. I am going back to Serestos even thought it is more expensive but it works, No more Hartz.

It's a 2 pack that is long enough and adjusts to size of animal. These are for cats.Like the price of the product. It's very simple and easy. So what can you say? It's worth trying and will buy again. So yes I am recommending it.Stay safe and positive on your travels. See you next time.
