I purchased these specifically for trimming of climbing roses and crepe myrtle trees . With small clippers, even with long gloves, roses can stick you. These clippers are easy to use, the handles are perfect length, they are lightweight, and cut cleanly. I have not failed to cut one branch on the first try and I have used them a lot. Best clippers for the money that I have found anywhere. You can buy these with confidence.

This is a high quality, durable lopper. I'm a senior woman and avid gardener. After years of struggling with lower quality loppers, decided it was time to buy something that would reduce the strength needed to trim and prune my trees/shrubs.These loppers are awesome! They easily cut through larger limbs. They are sharp and well made. Yes, they are somewhat top heavy due to the compound action mechanism, but the ease of cutting makes up for this. I no longer have to brace one handle against my body while pulling the other handle towards me with two hands. These loppers greatly reduce the strength needed to do the job. Makes pruning a simple task.

As long as you don't try and cut something to large, these loppers do a great job. Very sharp and easy to use. It does not take a lot of force to get though a branch. We are clearing a large area of trees and we use these for lopping branches before putting the branches through the chipper. My wife loves them!

UPDATED REVIEW BELOW...These are 29" loppers. I thought I was buying a ratcheting pair - because that was my search. These are NOT. They list 'compound action' but they are not the help I need. Disappointed. They are also quite heavy. Guess I can't order this type of thing online - you gotta size what you're buying. They are too heavy and do not help you lop anything with the so called 'compound action.' Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I have shared them with neighbor who is stronger than I am - he is thrilled. Ordinarily I do not accept refunds for items I have not returned, but it was automatically done. I felt I needed to update my review to reveal that exchange. I appreciate their proactive approach and would certainly consider other items they offer to purchase.

I prune for a living and the quality of this loppers was impressive. I did buy it to give as a gift, so I hope the recipient is as impressed as I was.

Easy to use and you only have to open the handles a reasonably amount to get the cutting end opened onto a branch. It is quick, clean and easy to use. Very sharp.

The loppers is very nice for a woman - lightweight and yet sturdy. It gets the job done quickly. Nice long handles so that branches that are normally out of reach suddenly are within the field of the loppers. Very happy with purchase. Good value. Highly recommend...
