A simple pruner but one that works well and is a great value, costing less than many others. It is sturdy and well constructed.

I bought this tool to clean up some oak limbs that extend over my wife's car when parked in our driveway. The limbs were mostly about 3/4" in diameter or thereabouts. This little gem WRECKED all that overgrowth with effortless ease as I trimmed. The handles are a little bit shorter than most other pruning loppers, which means you get a little less leverage for trimming the really big stuff. However for trimming inches up to an inch in diameter, the tool does exactly what the seller claims it will do. I like the shorter handles because it makes the tool more maneuverable and wieldy. For the fourteen bucks I paid for the Edward Tool Pruning Loppers I am a very happy customer. This is a handy little tool for trimming my trees, and I am glad I bought it.

One of the advantages of shopping on Amazon is you have many choices when it comes to product selection and this is no different when I was looking for a small to medium size by-pass lopper for home use.I had already come across the Tabor Tools by-pass lopper when I saw the Edwards Tools 15" by-pass lopper.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010OETMLO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1I decided to order both. So what's the difference? Both are high quality products and both are made in Taiwan. The Edwards Tools 15" is a bit smaller and easier to handle when you don't need to cut anything larger than 1" in diameter. This small tool is easy to maneuver and handles cutting with ease. The hardened steel cutting blade is very sharp and comes with a plastic cover with a snap for protection when not in use. For light duty around the house that may be handled using a hand by-pass lopper, this makes the job that much easier. This is going to be my favorite when the larger size lopper is not needed. For such a high quality tool at this amazing price, don't look any further as you won't find anything that even comes close to this size and quality of construction.

Love loppers, and this one works great!! My hands are not as strong as most, but it worked fantastically to the degree I bought another one!!

For the price, they're about what you'd expect. The green base of them has a weird sort of vein on it that makes it look cheap. If you want a very high quality product this is not it, but I'm sure most people would know that anyways.

Not a big fan. I garden for a living and like to have multiple tools. I find this not as smooth to operate and can't seem to get a great edge on it. Have to 15 inch Fiskars power gear and it is a LOT better. If you are just using it for light home use its probably OK. Can't get through a very large branch without putting your full weight behind it. Good as a back-up though. Price was about half of the Fiskars, but in this case you do get what you pay for
