***UPDATE 8/2/19***Just reordered a pair of black. After 4 years the strap finally snapped apart on my old pair.My new black pair leaves the bottom of my feet black! I’ve never had that problem before and I’m not really loving it. I thought my floors were exceptionally dirty or something and mopped and cleaned my entire house a second time this week (I did have AC repair men in so I thought maybe they tracked dirt in) but that wasn't it and my feet are still black. Every time I wear them my feet look like I walk around barefoot everywhere, never clean or wash. Not happy about it, though my fiancé thinks its hilarious that I have to wash my feet so many times a day.******Update 4/30/15**I just ordered another pair in the Sand grey and light gold and the size is way off. They are supposed to be Slims but fit more like Tops. A side by side comparison between the ones I just received and my black ones confirms that these are much longer, thicker, and wider than my black pair which is marked as the same exact size. Extremely annoying as this is the second pair in two months I'm sending back because they just aren't the same.*****Havaianas are the best flip flops, second only to Rainbow. The rubber usually holds up for a long time (I went 3 years with a pair before the strap pulled out of the sole). I love the Slim strap version better than the Top version. The Top version's straps rub a bit more and is more likely to cause blistering while breaking them in. The Slim also looks more feminine and modern.They have this weird greasy feeling at first which is kind of annoying, but after a week of wear it kind of just goes away. I'm pretty sure it's just a new rubber thing.They're super comfortable and a staple for the summer. They also never go out of style and can be worn with anything!Make sure you get the right size. I get the 39/40 which is a 9/10 and I'd say it's a perfect 9. The Top version is listed in Men's sizes and the Slim is women's. So, if you choose the Top version, order a size smaller. With the slim, order your normal size and you won't have to worry about them not fitting.I love em!

I bought my first pair of Havaianas in high school when my sandal strap broke at the mall and I needed an emergency pair of shoes. I remember being shocked by how much I paid for a pair of black flip flops, but I bought them anyway. After wearing them for a few days, I was thrilled with the quality, and more thrilled as they continued to last through each subsequent summer. I bought them in 2002, and I didn't throw them away until 2013 when the sole of one finally cracked in half. 11 years out of flip flops is definitely worth $20 a pair. My current black flip flops (bought in a hurry from Walmart for $3.99) have become thin and worn, so I decided to go back to Havaianas. I ordered this black pair and a sand colored pair, and they are exactly the same quality as the ones I wore for 11 years. They are light, comfortable, and made of very durable rubber. I wear an 8.5-9 in U.S. sizes, and the 9-10 pair fit perfectly. They do run a bit small, so if you normally wear a 10, I'd recommend sizing up to the 11-12, just to make sure your heel doesn't hang off the end. The footbed is slightly narrow. I have slightly wide feet, and the footbed just covers their width. I will definitely be buying all of my flip flops from Havaianas from now on, and I'm glad I won't have to replace these ones for years!

I really liked these but they seemed to run really small; like not even close to my size. I don’t know if it was defective or if my foot suddenly grew 2 sizes overnight after ordering them. Quality is nice but did not keep due to fit.

I have worn this brand of flip flops for years!!! They are my absolute favorite. My three sisters also wear them and we our all the same size foot. I always know if I'm accidentally wearing one of their pairs cause it forms to the shape of your foot and you can feel the difference.Downside: the flip flops can break pretty easily. The sandal part that goes in between your toe can easily come out of its hole if someone steps on the back of your shoe or you accidentally trip. The good thing is you can usually pop it right back in and your fine. However if it comes and part of it is broken it won't go back in the hole. I am around a size 8 1/2 and I wear a 39-40. Also my friend went to Brazil a couple years ago and they literally sell them their for like less than 5$(Sigh)I usually buy them from Nordstrom's and when they break they are really good about letting u return them and get a new pair. Just make sure to keep receipts. I bought my last pair on Amazon though cause I didn't feel like going to Nordstrom's.

I needed a new pair of basic flip flops and these fit the criteria perfectly. They’re comfortable and fit well into a bag. Overall, I think they are great and they’ll get many wears this summer.

I noticed that a lot of people have said these run small but they don't. These will flatten out over time. They should be an exact fit to your foot at first and stretch out with use.
