I bought this HCALORY 12V 8KW Diesel Air Heater to heat the skirted space under my 35' 5th wheel RV. We have had temperatures as low as -15°f and this little heater has kept the space at a comfy 50°f. At temps above 10°f the space is near 70°f, which results in a huge difference in propane consumption. It has been a significant game changer.The heater has literally been running non-stop for over 6 weeks with absolutely no issues. There are 6 speeds and I run it at 3-4 and fill the tank about every 6-8 hours. I have been using 5 gallons every 3-4 days.

It started up and ran perfectly the first time it’s been two weeks and it won’t start again,and the manufacturer now tells me parts are on back order?

First let me clarify an error p-10 code. Check your wires. We had this code and discovered we had a bad ground fixed the ground and it started perfectlyThis thing works great. Keeps us nice and toasty. Do yourself a favor and get the model with Bluetooth.

So this review is bitter sweet.I received this unit December 7th. I unboxed, plugged it in, filled it with Diesel and turned it on, ran it for 20 minutes and... it worked. Cool!Fast forward to the day of reckoning.. I plug the heater in, filled it with Diesel and.... The screen won't turn on. Great, hold the power button in and the unit turns on..But it only runs for about 25ish minutes before turning off..I reach out to the seller and they IMMEDIATELY send me out a new screen. Takes a week to get to me and boom! We are back up and running!But the unit still only runs for about 20 minutes and turns off.. but now I can see the error code! E093, temperature sensor malfunction or replace main board..I replace the sensor.. Same thing.. reach out to the company again. And again they IMMEDIATELY send out a replacement main board.These units are tricky, they can't be sent back once they are filled with diesel.The seller went above and beyond to answer my questions, assist me with troubleshooting, and provide a replacement parts to get me back up and running.Sometimes you get a lemon, in the event you do. These guys will take care of you.Overall the heater is great, put that a lot of dry heat. Sips electric and diesel.10/10 would recommend. Just do me a favor and view a few YouTube videos before you make the commitment of purchasing a diesel heater. Understand how they work in the quirks. They are all relatively the same, but having a support team behind it is very important.I can 100% recommend each Hcalorie.

I bought this knowing that I would probably have to go through it. I did. The first time I fired it up the tick from the fuel pump was obnoxious and there was no way I could sleep anywhere near the thing. I intend on using this to heat my tent.Be prepared to replace the fuel pump (22ml 12V sold here with the same inlet and outlet barb diameter - you may have to buy a few to find one that doesn't have a smaller outlet diameter), and while you're in there, plan on deburring sharp edges to protect the fuel line and wiring from abrasion.I also built a cover out of 2 in sulation and sound deadening material to silence the combustion air intake and mounted the whole thing on a 3/4-in piece of plywood.It took a bit of work almost twice the cost of the heater, but in the end it turned it all right.

To the person or persons that have made reviews stating that the heaters work great on a car battery, but when plugged into a perfectly good 120volt ac outlet, it pops the breaker in the house and blows the motherboard on the heater... It's not 120 volt ac friendly because it's only a 12 volt dc system... To use it on the 120 volt ac outlet it's simple, just get an old CPU power supply (most are 12 volt dc output) and use it for your heater... I bought my first one 2 years ago, I have made a harness for using my 20 volt tool batteries to run it as well as a harness for using the CPU power supply... Works great. I just recently bought a second one, to use in the house when the power is out, we ran the exhaust out through a double walled boat exhaust port through the wall , and it kept the pipes from freezing in -20degree weather with no problem at all... But use your head and please do not plug directly into an ac outlet, it runs on dc ...

I unpacked it from box hooked it up to 12v battery and the fan kicks on but the screen never shows a display. It shows a light on it but its like its faulty. Contacted the company for replacement screen but they are doing nothing but asking for short videos of what its doing. Dont buy this junk!

Blows good heat but it has failed after only 1 use. It is now throwing a code for the glow plug. I bought the silvel brand at the same time and haven't had any issues out of that one so far. I did like that this one came with a better fuel hose and a 90° fitting for the exhaust. Not looking forward to spending more money and having to work on something I just bought.
